What are the fun places in Chongqing?

Hey, I am from Chongqing. The key to where to visit in Chongqing is to see what you want to do, whether it is to feel the city atmosphere or the natural scenery.

If you want to feel the atmosphere of the city, then I recommend a few places that I have been to and think are pretty good:

1 Jiefangbei:

If you go to this place, Of course, I went to the shopping mall. I think the skating rink in the metropolis is pretty good, it is real ice, and the price is relatively acceptable. In addition, you can reach Hongya Cave in ten minutes by walking down from Jiefangbei (you can ask passers-by). In the food court on the third or fourth floor of Hongyadong, there is a pure handmade hot and sour noodle shop, which is freshly made and eaten. It is very good. At least I will go there to eat it every year. Hongyadong sells more delicious food. If you are too accustomed to local food, there are also Western restaurants there such as Starbucks and Quanjude. If you want to eat local snacks in a down-to-earth manner, don’t be afraid of spicy food! By the way, don’t miss the night view of the city. If you have time, it’s more fun to go shopping in the evening, at least you can eat more (Chongqing has a lot to eat anyway). However, it is not recommended to go to Jiefangbei on the night before Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. Because there are too many people listening to the New Year's bell, the crowding feeling is still uncomfortable. There are pictures and truth, but I don't dare to go anyway.

2 Chongqing Central Park:

In Yubei District, among the existing urban open parks, this is the largest one in the country and one of the four largest open parks in the world. A modern urban park that integrates Chinese and Western culture, relies on Chongqing's landscape features, and embodies the harmonious beauty of nature. It mainly includes five major scenic spots: the central square, the vibrant waterscape, the sunny grass slope, the peninsula mirror lake, and the dense forest stream. 3 Chaotianmen Square:

This is a place where you can go and see the intersection of the two rivers (the Yangtze River Jialing River) is quite interesting when you see it for the first time. Go and enjoy the river breeze and see the landmark at zero kilometers.

4 Chongqing People’s Great Hall:

Chongqing People’s Great Hall is the largest theater in Chongqing. The Great Hall of the People in Chongqing adopts the architectural features of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Its main feature is the traditional method of symmetry on the central axis, with colonnade-style wings and ending with a tower, with a well-proportioned facade. This type of building is gorgeous and solemn. Although it is not completely practical, it gives people a sense of spiritual cohesion and deterrence. It is the representative of the highest level of architectural structure and is an exquisite and ingenious oriental building after the Forbidden City in Beijing and Shenyang.

5 Ancient Town Ciqikou:

There are several ancient towns in Chongqing. Let me recommend this one to you now. "A stone road, thousands of years of Ciqikou", this is a vivid portrayal of the ancient town of Ciqikou. Ciqikou is adjacent to the Jialing River in the east and Gele Mountain in the west. It is only 3 kilometers away from the center of Shapingba District. It is named after the blue and white porcelain that was abundantly produced and transported during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient town began in the Song Dynasty and flourished at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. The grand occasion at that time can be described by one sentence: "Thousands of people bowed their hands during the day, and thousands of bright lights were lit at night." Ciqikou has a long history and profound cultural heritage. It brings together ancient architectural culture, religious culture, Bayu folk culture, capital culture, food culture, and many other wonderful elements. It is formed by its original and simple style and the urban prosperity within easy reach. The strong contrast gives people a paradise-like feeling and impact.

Don’t forget to eat Chen Mahua when you go to Ciqikou. Legend has it that the one with the longest queue is the most authentic, but I don’t know because I think they are all the same? I don’t recommend the salt and pepper flavor, this is just for reference.

6 Nanshan Yishu Observation Deck:

What is there to see in this place? Of course, it’s to watch the night view of the mountain city. It seems that Chongqing’s night view is quite famous. So if you have the chance, stay in a hotel for one night at a tree, watch the night view at night, and get up early in the morning to watch the morning fog. It will be more enjoyable. I heard that the spring water chicken in that place is delicious, but I have never tried it.

If you want to experience the natural scenery:

1 Wulong Fairy Mountain:

Wulong Fairy Mountain is a good choice this season, the main urban area of ??Chongqing There is no snow, but if you go to Fairy Mountain, the snow is more suitable. You can go skiing with your friends when you have time, and the air in that place is very good. If you go to play now, there should be a lot of people.

2 Jinfo Mountain:

It is recommended to go to Jinfo Mountain in summer. A major feature of Chongqing is that ultraviolet rays are not strong, so it is really good to go to the mountain to escape the heat in summer. Last summer was the best When it was hot, I went to Jinfo Mountain for two days. There was plenty of sunshine, but the body temperature was probably about 25 degrees. You can visit Jinfo Mountain with a jacket. Of course, I didn’t have enough fun during the two days I went there. I plan to go there again this year~~ Be sure not to miss the cable car on Jinfo Mountain. Also, climbing as many mountains as possible to see the karst landforms is also a good choice. The air is also first-rate.

3. Soak in hot springs:

Chongqing is known as the capital of hot springs, so you can go to hot springs. Tongjing Hot Spring is economical and affordable, and the southern and northern springs are also good. You can choose by yourself. It is recommended to look for guides online before going.

That’s all I have to say. I’m ashamed to say that, as a Chongqing native, I haven’t been to too many places in Chongqing (it’s too homely~~). I hope this will be helpful to you. help. . .
