What is the only river that flows into the Indian Ocean in China?
The source of the Yarlung Zangbo River is the Gemayengzong Glacier at the northern foot of the Himalayas in Tibet, China. It crosses southern Tibet from west to east, bypasses Nange Bawa Peak at the easternmost tip of the Himalayas, and turns south, forming the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, the largest canyon in the world. After entering Bangladesh, it is called Jamuna River, where it flows into the Ganges River and finally into the Bay of Bengal, forming the largest delta in the world.
Nujiang River originated in Jire Paige at the southern foot of Tanggula in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It goes deep into the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, obliquely crosses the shallow valley in eastern Tibet from northwest to southeast of the First Bay of Nujiang River, flows southward into Yunnan Province, passes through Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Baoshan City and Dehong Autonomous Prefecture, flows into Myanmar, is renamed salween, and finally flows into the Andaman Sea in the Indian Ocean.
