The voluntary blood donation certificate is a certificate issued to voluntary blood donors by qualified medical and health departments in accordance with Article 6 of the "Blood Donation Law of the People's Republic of China". Healthy citizens who meet the requirements and whose one-time blood donation meets the minimum standard of 200ml can obtain a voluntary blood donation certificate issued by the state. According to the "Blood Donation Law of the People's Republic of China", voluntary blood donors, their spouses and immediate family members have the following rights to use blood: Citizens who donate blood voluntarily have the right to enjoy free blood. If the cumulative blood donation volume of unpaid blood donors (excluding self-stored blood) is less than 800 ml, the blood will be used for free at three times the amount of blood donation; if the cumulative blood donation volume is more than 800 ml (including 800 ml), the blood will be used free of charge for life. If the spouses and immediate relatives (referring to parents and children) of unpaid blood donors need blood for clinical use, they can use the same amount of blood for free according to the actual amount of blood donated by the blood donor.

The working hours of blood donation vans are generally 8:00-12:00 in the morning and 14:30-17:00 in the afternoon. In northern areas, they may get off work at 15:00, except for holidays.
