Cuihua Mountain, located in Taiyigong Town, Chang 'an District, xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a branch peak of Zhong Nanshan, located at the northern foot of Qinling Mountain, 20 kilometers away from Xi City, with the main peak at an altitude of 2,604 meters and a total area of 32 square kilometers. Because Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty once offered sacrifices to Taiyi God here, it is also called Taiyi Mountain. There is a Cuihua Temple on the mountainside, where a statue of Lady Cuihua is enshrined. According to folklore, Lady Cuihua fled here to get married for free, and later became an immortal, hence the name Cuihua Mountain.
