J University is located in Chiba Prefecture, a neighboring county in Tokyo. The university happens to be on the outer boundary of the Boso peninsula. In ancient times, this place was a barbaric place compared to Kyoto. In the "Diary of Dynasty Women" during the Heian period (edited by Ye Weiqu and published by Hebei Education Press in 2002), the beginning of the "Diary of Gengshi" written by the ancient Japanese talented woman Sugawara Takabiao describes nearly 1,000 events. The name of this rail line is Choshi Electric Railway. It started operation in Taisho 5, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers. Originally intended for the convenience of citizens, it is now equipped with stylish red carriages to serve tourists.

Japan is an island country, and its national border is the coastline, which surrounds the entire country. Therefore, the sea is commonplace for Japanese people, but the differences between coasts are as great as the differences between people's personalities

The Choshi Coast attracted the attention of Chinese writers as early as the 1930s. Yu Dafu wrote in "Migration to the South":

Although the Anbo Peninsula (Boso Peninsula) is not as beautiful as the Boots Island in the Mediterranean, it has layers of waves, blue sky, and soft scenery. The air, the soft low mountains, the fishing nets on the coast, and the residents of the villages are also very characteristic of the southern European coast, which can make tourists forget that they are in a foreign land. The southeastern slope runs along the Pacific Ocean, from Choshi to Ohara, forming a half-moon curve, which can be used as a gourd. Looking at the narrow point below, Chozi is the point on the largest circumference of the gourd, and Ohara is the point on the circumference of the second layer of the gourd. The top of the gourd continues to curve to the west. The small peninsula inside the peninsula is called Nishikami Village. The top of Nishima Village is Suzaki. The westward boundary is between the Pacific Ocean and Tokyo Bay. To the east of Susaki is the Pacific Ocean. To the north of Susaki is Tokyo Bay. Susaki is far away from Izu. The peninsula faces Somo Bay; residents of the Anbo Peninsula use it as the boundary and call the area east of Suzaki along the Pacific Ocean the outer house, and the area north of Suzaki along Tokyo Bay the inner house.

The original residents of the peninsula were commonly known as the Fangzhou of the peninsula, so the inner and outer houses were the abbreviations of the inner and outer houses. The gourd-shaped bottom of the Boshu Peninsula is connected to Tokyo, so now trains departing from Ryogyobashi Station in Tokyo can go directly to Tateyama from the inner side and Katsuura from the outer side. ”

When I was teaching, the new millennium was ushered in in Japan. On the first day of the new century, people rushed to the seaside and mountains to watch. Sunrise, pray for a prosperous year. Choshi's Inuboshizaki is located on the tip of Honshu Island facing the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the best places to watch the sunrise in Japan and is also considered to be the first place in Japan to enter the new century.

On the night before, many people came to Inubosaki from all directions, regardless of the cold, singing and dancing, waiting for the dawn of the new century to come when the rising sun on the first day of the 21st century showed its red smile from the eastern sea. , the people gathered at the Inubosaki Lighthouse in Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, cheered in unison. Many people immediately activated the shutter of their cameras to capture the scenery at this moment.

The lighthouse on Cape Inubi is a symbol of connection with the world. Watching the sunrise is a tradition in Japan. It is said that this is related to the religious beliefs of the Japanese. There are approximately 80,000 shrines in Japan, and nearly 18,000 of them are dedicated to Amaterasu, the sun.

Writers in the early Meiji period compared Japan to the rising sun on the Pacific Ocean, hoping to leave Asia and join Europe. Tokutomi Ashika (1868-1927) was a Japanese novelist and essayist born in Kumamoto Prefecture. An aristocratic family. In the early morning of November 4, the 29th year of Meiji (1896), he watched the sunrise from the Suimei Tower in Choshi, with the Pacific Ocean below:

The waves crashed against the black sandy shore, becoming more and more clearly visible. Looking up, I don't know when the dawn moon turned from a golden bow into a silver bow. The eastern sky was also dyed clear yellow for the first time. Silvery waves and dark troughs flicker on the vast sea. Night dreams are still lingering on the sea, but the sky in the east has opened its eyes. The dark night of the Pacific is fading.

At this time, the dawn blooms like flowers and scatters like water waves. The sky and the sea were bright, the water gradually turned white, and the eastern sky became increasingly yellow. The dawn moon and the lighthouse naturally faded away, and in the end they could no longer be found. At this time, a group of migratory birds flew across the sea like messengers from the sun. All the vast expanse of waves are looking towards the east, making a noise of expectation - the invisible sound fills all directions.
