Business hours of Changsha Underwater World: 09:00- 17:30 in winter (stop selling tickets 16:30) and 08:30- 18:30 in summer (stop selling tickets 17:30).

Changsha Underwater World is located in the Golden Eagle Film and Television Cultural City on the Liuyang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province, covering an area of nearly 100 mu. It consists of seven functional areas, such as polar aquarium, science and education museum, water park and children's park, which integrates viewing, leisure, entertainment and popular science. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

Main attraction

Aquarium: it is mainly a marine life area, which is divided into freshwater fish area and marine fish area according to the exhibition content. Freshwater fish area is subdivided into three exhibition areas: tropical rain forest area, African fish area and China fish area according to the original living area of fish. The marine fish area is displayed according to the species and characteristics of fish.

Polar Pavilion: It is mainly a polar animal area, which is divided into exhibition and rest pools for aquatic creatures such as Mobidick Pool, Sea Lion Pool, Dolphin Pool, Seal Pool, Penguin Pool and Otter Pool, and exhibition and rest cages for terrestrial creatures such as Arctic Wolf House and Arctic Fox House.

Science and Education Museum: The building area is 1 100_, including four parts: science classroom, biological evolution exhibition hall, marine animal exhibition hall and marine shell exhibition hall. There is a gallery of popular science knowledge with pictures and texts combined with physical specimens and models, and popular science knowledge classes are conducted with computers, projection and other audio-visual teaching equipment.

Children's Paradise: A happy world specially created for children. Children can not only play happily in the golden sand sea, but also enjoy themselves in various amusement facilities and ornamental projects such as children's castles, airplane slides and iron cable bridges.
