Applicability analysis of hotel room control system: manufacturer of hotel room control system

In this paper, two control systems of star-rated hotel rooms are described and analyzed in detail, and the two control systems are compared from the applicability of star-rated hotels, their advantages and disadvantages are expounded, and the representative cases in the two systems are compared from the cost aspect, so as to achieve the purpose of modular design of hotel rooms.

1 Introduction

At present, most domestic star-rated hotels adopt the unified centralized management mode of guest room electrical equipment, but little is known about the performance, advantages and disadvantages of distributed guest control system, which has certain limitations in application. In fact, the two kinds of room control systems have their own advantages, which should be determined according to the scale, grade, customer group and passenger flow of the hotel.

According to the requirements of guest room control in star-rated hotels, combined with the hardware conditions required for guest rooms in star-rated hotels, it will be the best idea for the development of hotel guest room control system in the future to fully reflect the comfort on the basis of saving costs and make operators and users achieve satisfactory results.

This paper systematically analyzes the characteristics of guest room control in star-rated hotels through more representative cases, and puts forward reasonable suggestions on applicability, so as to make the application scope of guest control system more clear.

2 Functional analysis

The traditional hotel room control system in China uses a simple card to get power. When the guests leave, the air conditioning system is turned off. After a long time, the room temperature will differ greatly from the set temperature, which violates the requirements of a comfortable hotel. If the air conditioning system is not plug-in control, continuous operation will waste energy. Therefore, it is the basic function and function of guest room control system to give consideration to comfort and energy saving.

According to the guest room types of star hotels, there are two guest room control system schemes to choose from:

The first is to adopt a professional hotel room control system (RCU). Among them, the room lighting and air conditioning control system are integrated. After the guests check in at the reception desk, the air conditioner in the room starts and runs in energy-saving mode. At the same time, the toilet exhaust fan began to exhaust air. If the guest does not enter the guest room to plug in the card to get electricity, the air conditioner and exhaust fan will stop running. When the guest opens the door, the door magnetic switch moves and the indoor lighting moves. Room lighting can be set to several scenes, usually including TV mode, visitor mode, wake-up mode, sleep mode and so on. Infrared detectors, emergency help buttons, outdoor display controls and other devices can be installed inside and outside the room as needed. The control panel of the fan coil unit is connected with the switch bus, and the air conditioning environment of the guest room can be adjusted after check-in. Air conditioning mode can be divided into working mode, energy-saving mode and standby mode, which can be automatically adjusted according to the time when guests leave the card. Guests can send the check-out information to the front desk through the check-out button in the room, and the waiter enters the room for inspection. After the guest checks out at the front desk, the hotel room control system will automatically switch all air conditioners and all lights in the room to the vacant mode.

The second is to use the common hotel room control system. Among them, plug-in cards are used for lighting and exhaust, and networked fan-coil units are used for air conditioning. Before opening the room, the lighting and exhaust of each room are set in the open position by the service personnel, and the card is plugged in to get electricity and then powered on for operation. When opening a room, the hotel management software automatically turns on the room air conditioner through the hotel equipment control system, and preprocesses the room temperature in an energy-saving mode, so that the temperature is relatively suitable after the guests enter the room. Guests can set the temperature on the thermostat according to their own needs, and the air conditioner works according to this temperature. After the guest pulls out the card and leaves, the power switch feeds back the signal to the air conditioning system, and the air conditioning system automatically enters the energy-saving mode. When the guest comes back, the set temperature of the air conditioner automatically returns to the temperature set by the guest. After check-out, the hotel management software automatically turns off the room air conditioning system through the hotel equipment control system.

4 case study

A four-star hotel newly built by a real estate development company, with a total construction area of 62,453 ㎡, * * 17 floors, 23 rooms1room and 3 floors of podium, is a supporting service facility for the hotel. The podium is equipped with hotel supporting functions such as entertainment, conference and catering.

According to the hotel design standards and the requirements of the hotel management department, the requirements of the hotel room control system are as follows:

(1) The guest room adopts fan coil units to meet the requirements of air conditioning and heating load; It is equipped with a central fresh air handling system to meet the ventilation requirements of each room. The water supply of the fan coil unit is automatically adjusted by the indoor constant temperature controller and electric valve according to the required room temperature, while the air volume is manually adjusted or adjusted as required by a three-speed liquid crystal selector (the liquid crystal panel should not emit light, so it should be equipped with a communication port).

(2) When the hotel rooms are not rented out or guests go out, the design will consider using the hotel intelligent weak current system to control the fan coil unit to continue running at low speed to keep the room temperature.

(3) Whether the lighting control system is adopted in the guest room shall be determined by the commercial group and the hotel management company through consultation.

According to this requirement, the hotel design unit provided two sets of guest room control system schemes and project cost for the construction unit to compare. The following is the project cost comparison table:

According to the case analysis, the cost of using ordinary room control system is low, but it can not realize the management of room lighting mode, and the room comfort and quality are average, which has certain energy-saving effect; Professional room control system has higher cost, higher comfort and quality, and better energy-saving effect. The above two schemes can meet the requirements of four-star hotel rooms and realize the management of hotel room control system.

5 conclusion

With the continuous improvement of people's requirements for quality of life, hotel rooms are indispensable tools in people's lives, and people's requirements for their quality and comfort are also constantly improving. In order to meet the needs of many people, the modular design of room control system will become the design direction of hotel guest control system in the future according to different consumption needs and hotel scale and grade.
