Bomi county, located in the southeast of Xizang Autonomous Region, on the north bank of the Palong Zangbo River, has beautiful scenery and unique customs, and has the reputation of "the land of glaciers", "the land of Tibetan kings", "Tibet Switzerland", "the pearl of green sea" and "the south of snowy areas". China's marine glaciers are well developed, including famous glaciers such as Harqin, Zepu, Ruoguo and Gu Xiang.

Bomi Tibetan is "Powo", which means ancestor. The plateau is undulating and surrounded by mountains, with a valley in the middle. It is located at the intersection of Himalayas and Nyainqentanglha Mountains in eastern Tibet.

Zhamu Town, the county resident, is 2720 meters above sea level. The main rivers are Palong Zangbo River and Gong Yi Zangbo River, which meet at Tongmai and flow into the bend of Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon, the largest canyon in the world.

Peach blossom world

There are many peach blossoms in Bomi. Peach trees have played a very important role in Bomi people's production and life for thousands of years. In ancient times, there was no cooking oil, so Bomi people could only squeeze oil with peach kernels. Peach kernel oil has a natural fragrance and is deeply loved by Bomi people.

Armored mountain

Tiejiashan was originally named Aricuori. The part near the top of the mountain is all composed of slate strata, with long and distinct meridians and several long steps formed by weathering. Every April-May or September-10, the snow will melt a part of the stone cliffs, revealing the patterns on the armor worn by ancient soldiers, so it is named "Armor Mountain" by the locals.
