Questions about traveling to Huashan

The best arrangement is two days and one night, that is, leaving in the morning on the first day and returning in the afternoon on the second day.

The specific arrangements for departure from Xi'an are as follows:

Prepare things in advance. You don't need to bring too much, just a little food (enough for two meals at most), and no water. There are too many. The shoes must be thick-soled and high-top to protect your feet. Basketball shoes are best. Hiking boots are of course best. Cloth shoes, leather shoes, and slippers (when I went there I saw someone wearing slippers!!) are absolutely not allowed. Wearing them, firstly, it will hurt if you walk too much, and secondly, it will affect standing or the soles may be too slippery and may cause danger. Don’t be afraid of the cold temperatures on the mountain. You can wear whatever you want down the mountain (I’ll talk about accommodation later). Bring at most one extra sweater (even less necessary in summer). In summer, bring some cooling oil and anti-mosquito water, and preferably a pack of throat lozenges.

Take a tourist bus at Xi'an Chengdong Passenger Terminal or Railway Station at 8 or 9 o'clock in the morning on the first day (you can also take a private car, see which one is almost full, and be sure to take the expressway) ) arrived at Huashan in one and a half hours. After going down the mountain, buy a map, preferably one printed on a handkerchief, which is waterproof, anti-folding, and can also wipe away sweat, haha. It’s OK to buy another pair of gloves, safety charms and locks if you think you need them, don’t buy a flashlight or a commemorative gold medal with engraved text (I don’t understand how someone could design such a mentally handicapped thing~~someone still buys it~~) Bought.

There are two roads up the mountain. One is the old road, which starts from Yuquan Temple and has many cultural landscapes. The new road starts from the ropeway (you will know it when you go there, I won’t go into details here). It is recommended that you take the old road. First, there are many historical and cultural landscapes. For thousands of years, literati and poets have taken this road. You can’t go wrong. Second, the scenery is good. , and there are many shops in the middle and the distribution is relatively reasonable. The new road is the "Taking Huashan Outsmart" road back then. It's a little more dangerous, a little faster, and nothing special.

In an hour and a half, we drive to Yuquan Temple, where we can walk around and burn incense. There are many temples on Huashan Mountain, and there are also many Bodhisattvas worshiped. It’s best to pay homage to them when you see them. Burning incense is free anyway, so it doesn’t matter if you burn three of them. You can ask Bodhisattva to bless you with peace, wealth, and a wife~ Hehe, just kidding.

Buy a ticket (10 yuan less for students) to enter. There is only one road and you can just keep walking. I noticed that in front of the Huixin Stone, I felt free to drink the things I brought when I was thirsty, but I was hungry. Don't eat it, because the refill water in the store is relatively cheap: an ordinary small bottle of mineral water, 1 yuan for a full bottle, or 2 yuan for a larger bottle. Food is also relatively cheap, jelly and cold noodles are only two yuan.

After you get the Heart Stone, you have to save a little. Future supplies are very expensive, but you can still drink water as much as you like. Because once you find a hotel, you can replenish it there. There are many hotels on Mount Huashan. There are hotels on almost every peak (it seems that there are no hotels on the south peak). The north peak is halfway up the mountain, so don’t stay here. Go further up to Dazhong Peak. It is more suitable to stay here. It only takes 20 minutes to reach Dongfeng Peak. The price is not expensive, so bargain for a bargain. Note that the earlier you arrive, the cheaper it will be! ! ! Divide the price listed on the hotel brand by about three to get the ideal price~. The west peak seems to have better conditions and is the cheapest, but it is far away from the east peak and requires a lot of backtracking, which is not worth the cost, so I recommend not considering it. You can watch the sunrise directly if you stay at Dongfeng Peak, but it is much more expensive than others. You can consider it if you think it is suitable. There are also caves, temples, etc. where the accommodation conditions are too poor. It is recommended not to consider them. Renting military coats to make do in the field is the most unwise thing. It costs money, suffers, and may even fall asleep and roll down the mountain~:)

Suppose you stay at Zhongfeng Hotel, From the beginning of the climb to the middle peak, you can play, take photos, and visit other scenic spots on the roadside (for example, not far from the entrance, there is an iron rope ladder after crossing a bridge, which looks like a hundred-foot building. You can climb and play) Take a rest when you are tired, and you will arrive at the middle peak at 10 o'clock. It takes 8 hours to get to Huashan. This section of the road basically takes up the essence of Huashan 40. (If you walk at night, you won't be able to see it at all. It will take 4-6 hours to complete, and you may be exhausted)

Arrived at the middle peak at 18 o'clock , stay. You can take a break and walk around.

Now you can eat what you brought. If you just eat at the bottom, you'll have to pay 15 yuan for a small bowl of awful egg noodles. Replenish water (water is still very precious. Although it is free, the supply is not large, so be careful to save!)

Go to bed early and get up early ~ ask about the sunrise time, the hotel staff will tell you.

The next day, get up early, eat all your food, pack lightly, and go up to Dongfeng to watch the sunrise. Then go to the South Peak, and then to the West Peak (there are signs along the way). This route is the best, and you don’t have to take the wrong path~ Even if you come down from the West Peak, you can choose another way. It takes 4 hours to visit all the peaks around 11 o'clock.

There is nothing scary about the two most dangerous sights in Huashan, the kite turning over and the sky plank road. As long as you have both hands, even one hand can grasp the chain, I guarantee that it will be difficult for you to die. After getting off the ladder on the Changkong Plank Road, walking on the wooden board is not scary anymore. The cliff is a little tilted inward, and people basically lean on the cliff. Unless someone squeezes you or you jump down voluntarily, it is very difficult to die. But safety comes first~~After going to these two attractions, you have to come back because there is no way in front (one goes to the chess pavilion and the other goes to the small temple). Personally, I feel it's simpler than the previous one.

There is no need to say much about going down the mountain. Take it easy, rest more, and you will be able to eat and drink freely after returning to the heart stone~~ It takes a total of 5 hours to go down the mountain from Xifeng. You can go back at 4 pm and arrive in Xi'an around 6 pm.

The total cost should be around 170 per person. If you control it well, there is no problem under 150! ! ! !

Additional cost issues:

Food and water: 30~50

Round trip by car: 30 (departing from Xi'an and returning to Xi'an)

Accommodation: 10~40 (depends on time and place of residence)

Tickets: 75 (65 for students)

Necessary gloves and map: 1 1=2 yuan
