Mengla, also known as Little Mengla (to distinguish it from Mengla in Yunnan), is the capital of the fourth special zone in eastern Shan State, Myanmar. It is located in the northeast of Myanmar, adjacent to Luoda Town, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. Now it is controlled by the National League for Democracy in eastern Shan State and enjoys a high degree of autonomy.
