How many years has Li Bai lived in Jining?

Li Bai lived in Jining for 23 years.

In 736 AD, 36-year-old Li Bai, with Xu Shi and his daughter Pingyang, left Anlu, where he had lived for many years, and came to Rencheng, which is now Jining. In the following 23 years, Li Bai and his wife and their children settled in Jining. During these 23 years, Li Bai's daughter grew up in Jining, her son was born in Jining, and his wife Xu Shi died in Jining.

Today, Jining still retains the Huanbi Spring where Li Bai washed his pen, the Gunanchi, which he visited with Du Fu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, Taibailou, till, raising my cup, I asked the bright moon, and places where he borrowed wine to recite poems. Li Bai has settled his home in Jining for a long time, mainly because many people in his family are policemen in Rencheng and its vicinity.

Li Bai came to Rencheng, his sixth uncle worked as a county magistrate in Rencheng, his brother worked as a county magistrate in Zhongdu (now Wenshang), his brother Li Ning worked as a master book in a single father (now a single county), his ancestors worked as a satrap in Jinan, and his ancestors Li Fu worked as a governor in Lu Bu (now Yanzhou), all of which made Li Bai feel safe and reliable, so he settled in Rencheng.

Place names left by Li Bai:

According to legend, during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, there was a JOE Street on Taibai Lake. That summer, the poet Li Bai spent the night in the Jiangxin Temple in Caishan, Huangmei, and was excited to see that Caishan was independent from the river and the temple was soaring. Let people bring wine and prepare to drink and write poems. As soon as I opened my mouth, I understood that Jiangxin Temple is a Buddhist temple and I dare not violate the rules.

Early the next morning, Li Bai asked the shipowner to row to Huangmei County as quickly as possible. After more than ten miles, I arrived at JOE Street. In a hotel at the east end of the street, Li Bai drank eight bowls in one breath, and absently wrote the famous poem "Sleeping in the Temple of the River" on the wall of the hotel: a dangerous building is 100 feet high, and you can pick stars in your hand. Dare not speak loudly for fear of scaring people.

From then on, "JOE Street" was called "Taibai Street". Several years later, due to subsidence, Taibai Street sank and became today's Taibai Lake. Poet Li Bai lived in Jining for 23 years, married and had children, and had the best time in his life.

In order to commemorate Li Bai's life experience in Jining, Jining not only left Taibailou, Huanbiquan and other places of interest, but also named Taibailou Road, Taibai Square, Taibai Lake and Taibai Lake New District.
