What is a wake-up call?

Morning call service, also called morning call service, generally refers to the regular morning call service provided by hotels for the convenience of guests.

1. When we receive a wake-up call from a guest, we should pick up the phone in our left hand, prepare records of important matters, and hold a pen in our right hand. We should write down the wake-up time, the guest's room number (usually displayed) and the guest's wake-up request.

2. After the speaker finishes, repeat the guest's room number and wake-up time for the guest to confirm. It should be noted that when you get up repeatedly, you must distinguish which time it is. For example, a guest may call at 5 pm and ask for 8 am. When retelling at this time, be sure to ask whether it is 8 o'clock tonight or 8 o'clock tomorrow morning, so as not to cause the mistake of delaying the guests.

The first thing to do after hanging up the phone is to set an alarm clock so as not to miss the time to get up. When setting the alarm clock, we can set it to 1-2 minutes in advance, so that we have enough time to call the guests.

Pay attention to the wake-up service

1. If the guest who knocks at the door responds, explain the reason to the guest (the specific language is the same as calling).

If there is no response to knocking at the door, the waiter needs to open the door and enter the room.

When you enter the room, you need to speak softly, not too loudly.

4. When entering the room, if you see that the guest has left, you need to give feedback to the office or the switchboard.

5. If the guest is still sleeping and sees the male guest, the male waiter nudges the guest with his elbow and explains the reason; If there is a female guest, change the waitress to wake up.

6. If the guest can't wake up after locking the lock, immediately notify the assistant manager in the lobby.
