What is a smoke well?

1, different uses:

Smoke exhaust shaft is used to exhaust indoor smoke in case of fire.

In case of fire, the air supply well delivers fresh air to the room.

2. Different setting positions

Smoke extraction wells are common in high-rise buildings and are plug-in facilities.

The ventilation shaft is located inside the building.

Extended data:

Wind well layout:

Each ventilation system has at least one reliable air inlet shaft and one reliable air outlet shaft.

In general, cage hoists are used as air intake shafts, and skip wells, skip and cage mixed wells are not used as air intake shafts.

This is because a large amount of dust produced during ore loading and unloading will cause airflow pollution. The air outlet well is usually dedicated because the air outlet contains a lot of toxic gas and dust.

According to the relative position of the inlet shaft and the outlet shaft, it can be divided into three different arrangement forms: central type, diagonal type and central diagonal mixed type:

Central style

Both the air inlet shaft and the air outlet shaft are located in the center of the strike of the mine field, and the flow route of the underground air flow is turned back. The central layout has the advantages of low capital construction cost, high production speed, centralized ground buildings, convenient management, convenient shaft extension and easy wind resistance.

The central type is mainly used for mining layered ore bodies. In metal mines, when the vein strike is not too long, it needs early production, or because of the limitation of topographic and geological conditions, it is not suitable to open air wells on the two wings, the central type can be adopted.

Diagonal type

The air inlet well is on one wing of the ore body, and the air outlet well is on the other wing of the ore body, or the air inlet well is in the center of the ore body, and the air outlet well is on the two wings, and the flow route of air flow underground is straight.

Diagonal layout has the advantages of short airflow path, small wind pressure loss and less air leakage. During the whole mine production period, the wind pressure is relatively stable, the airflow distribution is relatively uniform, and the discharged polluted air is far away from industrial sites. Most metal mines are arranged diagonally.

Central diagonal mixing

When the ore body has a long strike and a wide mining range, the central development is adopted, which can be in the middle of the mine field

Arrange air intake shaft and return air shaft to solve the ventilation problem when mining the central ore body; At the same time, another return air shaft is dug in the two wings of the mine to solve the ventilation problem during mining of remote ore bodies. The whole mine has both central and diagonal types, forming a central diagonal mixed type.

In some mines, there are underground cavity which need independent ventilation near the bottom of the central mine, such as crushing chamber, main chute mine and powder magazine. At this time, a return air system can also be established in the center, and return air shafts can be set in the two wings to solve the ventilation in the mining process of ore bodies.

The layout of air intake shaft and return air shaft can be classified into the above categories. However, due to the complex occurrence conditions of ore bodies and various development and mining methods, in mine design and production practice, it is necessary to combine the specific conditions of each mine, adjust measures to local conditions and use them flexibly, rather than being limited to the above categories.

Positive pressure smoke exhaust: it is set in the smoke-proof stairwell for the evacuation of people in high-rise buildings.

Because once a fire breaks out, people mainly escape through the stairwell. On the one hand, the smoke exhaust fan exhausts the smoke in the fire area.

On the other hand, due to the barrier of fire doors, the stairwell can temporarily form a relatively safe area, and at the same time, the air outlets on each floor transport fresh air into the building to ensure that people can breathe fully.
