② Cover the absorption cover and gently shake the absorption box until the contents are completely dissolved. Then open the absorption box and place it in the detected space for 30 minutes, 80-150 cm away from the ground;

③ After 30 minutes, completely pour the brown reagent into the absorption box, then gently shake it, cover the box, and let it stand for 10 minute;

(4) Compare the reagent with the color card, and read the formaldehyde concentration in the air per cubic meter of the measured space.

4. Household formaldehyde detector

The detection results of formaldehyde detector are more accurate in all methods, but attention should be paid to the detection time when using household formaldehyde detector. Generally speaking, the test should be arranged at least 7 days after the decoration is completely completed. Many consumers think that it is best to test immediately after decoration, but in fact, the maintenance period of paint is usually 7 days.
