Can I check in with my ID card when going to Thailand?

(1) Go through the reservation formalities. Guests can make reservations by telephone, fax and other media. When making a reservation, they should inform the hotel or guesthouse of their name, gender, nationality, passport number, the level and quantity of the reserved rooms, and ask for a confirmation form.

(2) After arriving at the front desk of the hotel and presenting the reservation confirmation form, the service staff will give the passenger a registration form. The contents of the registration form are basically the same as those of domestic star-rated hotels, mainly including the passenger's name, gender, passport number, credit card type and number, and days of stay. After the passengers fill out the form as required, they should return it to the service personnel together with their passports. After the service personnel check and confirm and arrange the room, they will give the room key and passport to the passengers. Passengers can check in after getting the key;

(3) If you don't go through the reservation formalities in advance, you can also go directly to the front desk of the hotel you think is suitable for check-in and ask if there is a spare room.

(4) After entering the room, the bellboy will deliver the luggage to the room immediately. After the inspection is correct, passengers should express their gratitude and pay a tip;

(5) Hotel rooms generally have telephone, TV, refrigerator, lounge, safe and other service facilities. After entering the room, guests must be familiar with how to use these devices, such as how to charge for the telephone, how to open and close the safe, and whether cable TV is charged. Only use them to avoid passivity and embarrassment.
