Function and use of fire emergency lights

In our daily life, we all see fire emergency lights.

Fire emergency light: it is suitable for fire emergency lighting, and is the most commonly used lighting tool in fire emergency. It has long emergency time, high brightness and automatic emergency function when power is cut off. Fire emergency lights have the characteristics of low power consumption, high brightness and long service life. There are power switches and indicator lights on the side, which are suitable for emergency lighting in public places such as factories, hotels, schools and units.

When the power supply in normal lighting fails, it can effectively illuminate and display the evacuation passage, and can also continuously illuminate and work. Widely used in public places and places where lighting cannot be interrupted.

According to the working state, it can be divided into three categories:

1, continuous emergency light. Whether the power supply in the normal lighting fails or not, it can continuously provide lighting.

2. Discontinuous emergency lights. Lighting is provided only in case of power failure in normal lighting.

3. Composite emergency light. There are more than two light sources in the emergency lighting fixture, and at least one of them can provide lighting when the power supply in the normal lighting fails.

According to the function can be divided into two categories:

1, lighting. In the event of an accident, it can provide necessary lighting for walkways, exit passages, stairs and potentially dangerous areas.

2. signal lights. It can clearly indicate the direction of the exit and passage. There are characters and charts on the lamp, the brightness of the sign surface is 7 ~ 10cd/m2, the thickness of characters and strokes is at least 19mm, the height is at least 150mm, and the observation distance is 30m. There is a big contrast between the transparent characters and the background.

The fire emergency lighting system mainly includes accident emergency lighting, emergency exit signs and indicator lights, which are set to guide the trapped people to evacuate or launch fire fighting and rescue operations when the power supply in normal lighting is cut off. However, in the daily inspection, it is found that there are many problems in the selection, installation and use of fire emergency lights. Therefore, the reasonable selection of power supply control mode and wiring mode of emergency lighting system and daily maintenance work will directly affect the function of fire emergency lighting system.
