High score Dali one and a half day free travel plan

One and a half days is enough to visit these four places. Here’s how you do it:

Day 1:

1. After taking the train from Kunming to Dali, At around 7:00 in the morning, when you leave the train station, take bus No. 8 at the train station square and go directly to the ancient city. If you have booked a hotel in the ancient city, go to the hotel. If you don’t have a reservation, take bus No. 8 to the end, which is Cangshan Gate, and find an inn on nearby Renmin Road, Boai Road, etc. Dali is a tourist city with many inns, which is very convenient.

2. Go to Cangshan Gate and take the Chongsheng Temple special bus (this bus also runs from the train station to Chongsheng Temple. Since you want to wash up first, it is not recommended that you take it) to Chongsheng Temple. Holy Mosque. Chongsheng Temple is very big and you can take your time inside. Then take the special bus from Chongsheng Temple to Honglong Well.

3. Visit Dali Ancient City in the evening. Because it gets dark relatively late in Dali, you can come back from Chongsheng Temple in time to visit, mainly Renmin Road, Fuxing Road, Foreigner Street, Honglongjing, Wu Temple and several city gates, especially at night. It's nice to sit in a teahouse. Playing in the ancient city of Dali is all about mood, and you can play until night. Dali is relatively safe, and the ancient city is very small, so one night is enough.

The next day:

1. Walk to Yu'er Road and take bus C2 to Caicun Pier. It is not recommended that you take a cruise on Erhai Lake because it is not very interesting. It’s not much different from other lakes in China, and it takes a lot of time. Once you get on the boat, you can only follow it, so just go to Caicun Pier and have a look.

2. Take bus C2 to Cangshan Gate, transfer to bus 4 and get to the foot of Guanyin Pond and visit Guanyin Pond. There is also a Zhangjia Garden next to it, but it is newly built and boring, and the tickets are expensive, so I don’t recommend you go there.

3. After visiting Guanyintang, walk 200 meters forward to the Gantong intersection and take a black car (minibus) up to Gantong Temple (the ticket is 10 to 15 yuan, it depends on your bargaining skills ), first visit Gantong Temple, and then take the Gantong Cableway up to Cangshan Mountain.

4. Walk along Yudai Road towards the ancient city. Yudai Road is the best scenic road to visit Cangshan Mountain, and you can see the Erhai Lake. Viewing the Erhai Lake from Cangshan Mountain is an extraordinary scenery.

5. There are three cableways on Cangshan Mountain. From south to north, they are Gantong Cableway, Cangshan Cableway and Zhonghe Temple Cableway. Among them, Cangshan Cableway can go all the way up to Ximatan at the top of the mountain. If you are interested, you can go up. If you are not interested, you can also go down the mountain from Cangshan Cableway. The lower station of Cangshan Cableway is Tianlong Babu TV City; if you want to continue walking, OK, get off the Zhonghe Temple cableway and get closer to the ancient city.

6. After descending from Cangshan Mountain, you will reach the ancient city of Dali. Continue to play and stay in the same place at night. The ancient city of Dali is very small, only 2 kilometers in length and width. You can take bus No. 8 directly to the train station the next day. But you have to be careful about your time, because this road is relatively long and Dali people drive slowly, it will take about an hour. If you are too late, you can ask the inn to find a black car, which costs about 30 yuan to the train station.
