shaxian county belongs to Sanming city, Fujian province. Shaxian is an ancient city in central Fujian, which was founded in Yixi Year (45 ~ 418) in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was originally called Shacun County, and was named after the sand source at the southern end of the county office. It is also said that in ancient times, there was a "Qiulong" in the water of Shaxi Chengguan reach, so Shaxi Chengguan reach was called "Qiujiang" and the county seat was nicknamed "Qiucheng". The administrative boundaries, jurisdiction and affiliation remained unchanged, and the government residence and office space remained unchanged. The proper name of the administrative district was changed to Shaxian County. On April 27, 221, a ceremony for awarding the license and seal was held in Shaxian District, and Shaxian County was officially removed from the county to set up a district.
