General situation of Dayi town

Dayi Town is located in the north of Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, at the junction of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces (Tianchang City, Hanjiang District of Yangzhou City, Yizheng City and Gaoyou City). It borders Yangshou Town and Gongdao Town in Hanjiang District of Yangzhou City in the east, Liuji Town and Jeffery Ji Town in the south, Qin Lan Town in Tianchang City in the west, Tianshan Town and Qiao Song Town in Gaoyou City in the north. Area 108.63 km2, population 4666 1 (2009). It governs 3 communities and 18 administrative villages. The town government is located in Dayi Town, 37 kilometers south of the city. It mainly belongs to hilly and mountainous areas, with Qinnan River, Yangshou River and Gongdao River as the main distributary rivers. Oil reserves are abundant. 333 provincial highway Xida and 244 provincial highway Tian Yang meet in the town. There are ancient cultural sites in Qingdun and Yindun. 1997 was listed as a key central market town in Jiangsu province, and was named as a national key town by the Ministry of Construction and other five ministries and commissions in 2004.
