Only when you are an extra actor in Hengdian Film Studio, you need to apply for an actor's license. You don't need to be an extra actor elsewhere, and you don't need to be a role actor in Hengdian. Hengdian Film Studio doesn't accept minors as extras, so it doesn't need an actor's license.

Prerequisites for certification

You must be at least 18 years old And stop recruiting extras in the summer vacation from the end of June to the beginning of September every year and one month before and after the Spring Festival.

When you arrive in Hengdian, you should first find a house and sign a written lease agreement with the landlord, indicating the landlord's name and telephone number.

Work contact list

Go to Hengdian Actors Guild to open a work contact list.

Temporary resident/residence permit

Take the work contact form and my ID card to the local police station to apply for a temporary residence permit.

China Construction Bank Card

Go to Hengdian CCB to apply for a CCB card.

Mobile phone cornet

Buy a mobile phone short number in Hengdian.

Apply for an actor license

Take a copy of your ID card, a copy of your temporary residence permit, a CCB card, a mobile phone cornet, and two one-inch photos, 10 yuan, and then go back to Hengdian Actors' Guild to apply for an actor's card, waiting for the Actors' Guild to arrange a job as an extra for you.

Wages and remuneration/benefits

The salary is 30 per day-50 yuan. When I first went, I didn't necessarily have a job every few days. I can work for more than half a month on average, and I can only shoot for three or five days a month. But after a long time, I can basically guarantee to have a job most of the time every month. Pack a box lunch on the set and eat and live by yourself.

Matters needing attention

Don't trust anyone who claims to help you in Hengdian. Most of them are swindlers who come to cheat you out of money. As an extra, any scene can happen. You can't be the kind of girl who refuses to shoot, or you will suddenly refuse to shoot some shots on the set, causing hundreds of thousands of huge losses to the crew, and you will be responsible for compensation!
