What's the difference between a hotel and an express hotel?

Express hotel and chain hotel are two completely different concepts.

Express hotel is a form of hotel, which is characterized by providing customers with basic hotel services-accommodation, only ensuring basic conditions such as hygiene, safety, washing and limited comfort, with simple service and low price. Some also provide limited additional services, such as breakfast, fast food and laundry.

Chain hotel refers to a number of hotels with the same brand and identification characteristics and subject to unified management.

Express hotels can be single stores or chain hotels.

Hilton Hotel, for example, is also a chain, but it is definitely not an express hotel. For example, home inns are hotel chains.
