Necessary travel documents

Documents, ID card, student ID card (required), military officer ID card, etc.

Electrical appliances Chargers, power banks, headphones, selfie sticks, cameras

Skin care products must have hydrating functions, and remember to bring sunscreen. The ultraviolet rays in Guilin are very strong (remember to wear sunscreen)

Masks are still in a special period, so you must wear a mask when going out

For clothes, it is recommended to check the real-time weather before deciding what clothes to bring. There is a temperature difference between morning and evening. No matter what season you go, wear thicker clothes at night than during the day. Order more or more

Accommodation Guide

① The scenic spots in the urban area of ??Guilin are relatively concentrated. It is recommended to live near the East and West Alley or near the central square. It is close to the scenic spot and convenient for travel. There are many delicious food just downstairs.

② The area around West Street in Yangshuo is very lively and noisy. The bars are open at night for supper. If you are worried about the noise, you can stay in B&Bs and hotels in some small streets on the back of West Street. Most of them are around the Yulong River and Moon Mountain. There are B&Bs with beautiful scenery near the scenic area. The transportation is not so convenient and it will be more expensive near the scenic area.

③Longsheng area. There are also hotels and B&Bs in the Longji Scenic Area. You can also stay in Longsheng County, but it is far from the scenic area. The night view of the county town is also quite good. You can stroll along the river and there are many night markets.

Suggestions for preventing pitfalls

1. Guilin’s slightly spicy food is also quite spicy. If you can’t eat spicy food, be sure to try it. Talk to the waiter in advance, otherwise many dishes are spicy by default

2. Don’t go to the hotels or restaurants recommended by taxi drivers. Most of them are rebates, high quality, and average taste

3. There is no light rail or subway in Guilin. Travel basically relies on taxis or buses. Since the scenic spots are far apart, you must arrange your time reasonably
