Brief introduction of Xinhui Kwai Lake

After large-scale reconstruction and expansion, Guihu Park has become more beautiful. The newly-built entrance square is about 7000 square meters, and there are two transparent gatehouses on both sides of the main entrance, with wind chimes hanging on them, which are novel in design and extraordinary in bearing. The square is paved with reddish and green ceramic floor tiles and granite, and cobblestone movement paths are interspersed among them. The square and the lake are full of sunflower trees and all kinds of flowers and trees, which are fragrant and beautiful, and shade the sun. A "hydrophilic platform" connected with the square extends all the way to the center of the lake. The stone fence and granite veneer are simple and fresh, and have a unique charm. Lake flowers and trees, arch bridges, stone paths, strewn at random. Standing on the platform, looking at the railing, I saw the blue sky and white clouds, sunflower trees and pavilions, the lake was as clear as a mirror, and the lake was blue and shiny. The sunflower trees in the three sunflower islands in the lake are lush, graceful and picturesque.

Along the lake paved with porcelain bricks, climb the elegant stone arch bridge, pass through the fresh and beautiful hexagonal pavilion, walk through the Wuqu Bridge in the lake, and enter a cool Kwai Island in the middle of the lake. Sunflower trees grow particularly well in evenly distributed sunflower forests. In the dark brown sunflower clothes, long and tough sunflower handles extend from all directions. Each sunflower stalk supports a sunflower leaf (sunflower fan) as big as a dustpan, and the feathers (sunflower tail) around it are swaying. The dense layers of sunflower fans grow at the top of the trunk, which provides great shade. A sunflower tree is a "pavilion", and the whole island is a big "pavilion": the trunk is a pavilion column, the sunflower fan is a pavilion cover, and countless "pavilion columns" are supported by a huge green "pavilion cover" to block the sun and resist the wind and rain. This is a specialty of Xinhui, Guilin.

There is a color-changing lamp by Kwai Lake. At night, the lights around the lake are as bright as day, and pavilions and arch bridges are winding and colorful. The five rainbow tubes of two giant "Olympic Light" lampposts complement each other, and the lights of ten Tanya trees change endlessly. The light in the long beach in the middle of the lake is like an elegant ribbon. The sunflower forest and lights on the shore are reflected on the calm lake, the water waves are swaying and colorful, and the breeze in the distance with magical notes makes people seem to have entered it.
