Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Project is located in Dishui Lake on the coast of the East China Sea. It is the core tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta, with seaports, airports, railways, highways and inland rivers. The total land area is about 29.7 hectares.

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is divided into five theme areas, namely Mermaid Bay, Polar Town, Ice Kingdom, Underwater Wonderland, Ocean Tribe, and a distinctive ocean theme resort hotel.

Six animal exhibition venues-Antarctic Penguin Pavilion, Marine Animal Exploration Pavilion, Iceberg Arctic Pavilion, Underwater World Pavilion, Volcano Shark Pavilion and Coral Jellyfish Pavilion; Nine planets's plays-killer whale science show, dolphin love song, Moby Dick's love, walrus travel notes, mermaid fairy tales, water dance fish room, ocean dream float parade, town party and trapeze.
