This four-day trip to Xiangxi ended perfectly, but we didn't lose our minds-

Part 1 Don't take the heart, take the lungs-furong town

? Furong town, whose real name is Wangcun, is an ancient town with a history of more than 2,000 years. Because of its majestic waterfalls, it is also known as "a thousand-year-old town hanging on waterfalls". One sunny noon, our party arrived at the gate of furong town Scenic Area. The air is so good! Not knowing the market, I booked a room outside the scenic spot on the X group in advance. When you get to the rear of the scenic spot, you will know that the car can drive in. After completing some formalities, we drove into furong town Scenic Area and were greeted by our enthusiastic boss when passing by Tuwangju Inn. We looked at their rooms. Because it is the off-season, the waterfall viewing room we live in is also cheap. After putting down our luggage, we started our trip to furong town.

The afternoon sunshine makes people feel comfortable, warm but not so hot, and everything is just right. Passing through some mottled theaters, I saw some naughty children turning in from nowhere and frolicking in the seats of the theater. How happy I am! If it is the peak season, there should be a performance here.

We walked all the way along the path and turned a corner to see the panoramic view of furong town Diaojiao Building and the visual sense of "hanging on the waterfall". The sun is just right, just right for taking pictures. When my father and mother were taking a single photo of each other, I was taking pictures of them. In my heart, this is very sweet. My mother always said that my father has become more and more smelly in recent years. He always likes to take pictures and make room. Listening to my mother's casual "spit", I smiled-they seem to be getting younger and younger, and sometimes they are like children.

The water in furong town is very green, just like this ancient town is wrapped in a huge jadeite stone. When we walked along the stone steps, we saw a panoramic view of Furong Waterfall. On the way through the waterfall, we can also see the Turen Cave site to show the life scenes of our ancestors to the tourists in the past. In winter, the water in the waterfall is not very big. When you walk through the waterfall, the water splashed on your body does not feel cold. The father who took the lead soon disappeared. It turns out that he went to find the best shooting location. Cowhide has not been praised, nor has the beauty of the scenery been praised. People travel in the world of painting!

? There is also a well-preserved Wulishiban Street in furong town, flanked by Panmunjom and Tujia Diaojiao Building. Looking out at the gate of furong town, there is a ferry pier on the shore of Youshui. Looking to the left from the dock, there are furong town Waterfall and Feishui Village built on the edge of the cliff.

This Wuli Stone Street has witnessed the historical changes of furong town for thousands of years. According to historical records, during the reign of Qianlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 560 shops in furong town, with more than a thousand horses and mules every day, and merchants gathered for a time, which was called "Little Nanjing".

Although today's ancient streets lack the scenery of standing in high cabinets in robes, the streets are also full of beautiful things with the characteristics of ancient towns. Looking around, the rice tofu and Bubushi Street in the ancient town sometimes attract people to the movie scene of furong town starring Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen, which has a unique flavor. Maybe it's because it's the off-season, and the shopkeepers on both sides of the street are not very enthusiastic about us tourists from other places. They are all doing their own things quietly and living slowly.

Came to the big square and saw the wave hall. Hand-cranked Hall is a "gallery" for Tujia people to worship their ancestors and dance by hand. After the Spring Festival, Tujia people, regardless of gender, old and young, dressed in festive costumes, gathered in front of the swing hall. Under the leadership of the owner of the altar, "men and women held hands and advanced and retreated moderately", jumped onto the touching swing hall, sang cheerful swing songs and performed various folk programs.

Suddenly inadvertently turned around and found that it was getting dark, and furong town lit up! Furong town looked a little shy against the light. Back to Tuwangju Inn, I had dinner with my boss: farm sausage, dried bean curd celery, and farm fried meat. The price of scenic spots is always more expensive, but the taste is ok. I went back to my room and sat on the balcony for a while. The night wind blew my parents and me back to our room. Furong town is still very cold at night.

The next morning, with the morning light and slight fog, furong town looked like she was dressed up to welcome the new day. The boss joked: this is fog here, and it will be smog elsewhere! ? Furong town, with fresh air, is livable.

Part two? Don't mind. Go-Zuolongxia.

Zuolongxia Scenic Area is located in Hongshilin Town, Guzhang County, separated from "furong town"-Wangcun by water. After 3 million years of natural feng shui erosion, he has been living in seclusion in the vast mountains of western Hunan. The scenic spot is about 3500 meters long, with a maximum drop of more than 300 meters. The width is not enough, and the narrow part can only be passed by one person; Cliffs in the valley are vertically stacked, streams and waterfalls hang horizontally, cliff trees are inclined to escape, and the slopes are covered with different grasses.

? Farewell to furong town, came to Xiangxi the next day, we came to Zuolongxia, not far from her. It was the off-season and winter. When we arrived, the staff in the scenic spot had not started working yet, and there was something wrong with the ticket sales. Fortunately, the customer service of the X group was solved in time before we entered the scenic spot. There were few tourists that day, and it took three hours to see a mountain keeper and his dog. It seemed that the scenic spot was open to our family of three.

? Just entering the scenic spot, I feel humble, just seeing two peacocks raised here. I walked a long way before I saw the first scenic spot-fig forest. Because it's not the season, all I see is a forest, nothing special. Walking, crossing the artificial dam, what I saw seemed to be a painting. The lake is blue and transparent, and it feels as exciting as finding an oasis in the desert.

Keep going, the road is getting narrower and narrower, and only one person can pass. The road is a rugged stone on the cliff, and there are also artificial pedals. The attachment is just a chain on the cliff, which is very thrilling. Built on the mountain, it is exquisitely carved and natural. Between the cliffs, it is not enough to cross the limbs, but also rely on your own will and gratitude to nature to conquer the legend of this land.

Along the way, I lamented the ingenuity of nature and the hardships of people who developed scenic spots. On the road, you can see that many places that may slip are marked with rough marks, which is very people-oriented and intimate. When I went to Longtan Gorge in Luoyang last summer, the smooth floor almost made me fall. To sum up, Zuolongxia does not recommend children and the elderly to play. For them, this section of the road is too dangerous, but friends who want to experience the feeling of climbing over the eaves must not miss Zuolongxia (and Nanjinguan in Hubei).

? Because winter is a dry season, we haven't been to several seasonal scenic spots, but each season has its own unique beauty, which is not a pity at all. You must have a good leg in the second half of the canyon. Walking without any physical strength is still very tired. On the mountain, there will be two stockades, Dazhai and Xiaozhai, and there will be some farmhouses and accommodation places on the stockades. We went to Xiaozhai. Many diaojiao buildings in Xiaozhai have a history of hundreds of years. On the sloping wooden house, we saw history and years.

If you want to go down the mountain, there are cars in both yards. Generally, a chartered car goes downhill once to 50 yuan. Near the end of the year, there are no cars going down the mountain. On the way, we met a family of four who were going to pick oranges at the foot of the mountain, so we took a ride with them, each of whom cost ten yuan.

The third part Don't wander, wander-Fenghuang Ancient City

Fenghuang Ancient City, a national historical and cultural city, was built in the 43rd year of Qing Emperor Kangxi [1704]. It was once praised by the famous New Zealand writer Alley as the most beautiful town in China, comparable to Old Town of Lijiang in Yunnan and Pingyao in Shanxi, enjoying the reputation of "Pingyao in the north and Phoenix in the south".

It's already afternoon driving to Phoenix. Boss Hotel Chao, a guest near Hongqiao in Fenghuang Ancient City, happened to see our tourists from other places. The boss has a glib tongue, and the plan he talked about is also to our liking, so he decided to stay in Kechao, watch the bonfire party and night scene of Phoenix in the evening, and then go to Wangmiao City the next day.

In fact, the bonfire party in Phoenix looks ordinary, and the stage setting and performance are not as good as Chexi in Yichang, Hubei. The first half and the second half started with auction calligraphy and painting, which was terrible. In the first half of the performance, the songs and dances were very ordinary, but the unique skill of eating charcoal and licking steel knives was really amazing, and the interaction with the audience was quite interesting, but the place was a little small.

? After watching the first half, let's retreat back to the hotel. Next, the beautiful guide sister began to show us the night view of the ancient city of Fenghuang. At night, the phoenix with lights is like an enchanting woman with heavy makeup, charming and moving. The night scene that came into view once made people forget that they were on earth.

There are girls who wear Miao costumes to take pictures for a fee, grandmothers who sell gadgets with baskets on their shoulders, noisy bars for high-altitude entertainment, quiet bars for cleaning, locals who are in a hurry, and travelers who enjoy the night view slowly. After visiting the ancient city, we went to a barbecue shop and tasted the special snack blood duck. Generally speaking, the taste here is a little salty. Friends with light taste come to Phoenix to play, so it's best to talk to the store in advance and have a light taste.

On the third day in Xiangxi, we got up at dawn, had breakfast and strolled around the ancient city of Fenghuang in the morning. If the phoenix at night is like an enchanting woman, then the phoenix in the morning is like a serene old woman.

Locals are the majority in the city, including cleaners who clean ancient streets, scooters who are busy delivering goods, uncles who are carrying two chickens to prepare for the New Year, and shopkeepers who yawn. The phoenix in the morning is extremely quiet. There are no bustling crowds, no laughing and drunken bars, no street vendors, and even many shops are closed.

? We are all like curious babies, trying to photograph everything we see (well, I admit, mainly me)-closed bars, closed bars, closed coffee shops, closed youth brigades, closed shops ... gradually, it is dawn. Shops opened door after door. Last night, I saw the girl in Miao costume come out and the street cleaner disappeared. The staff of the small scenic spots in the ancient city yawned and began to sell tickets, and the vendors jumping on poles began to set up stalls. I don't know which aunt started washing clothes by the river after breakfast, and the quiet old street began to be lively again.

Girls and boys who want to take pictures by the river in Miao costumes should pay attention. In order to avoid the last strong buying and selling, talk about the price before wearing clothes, talk about the number and size of photos to be developed, and be honest! Otherwise, the store will eventually develop all the photos, and you can't do it without buying them.

? I have to say that the ancient city of Fenghuang is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. However, Fenghuang ancient town, as the first batch of ancient town tourism development sites in China, is becoming more and more commercialized, just like what is said on the Internet. Commercialization is inevitable, but I still hope that the process of commercialization can be slower and slower to make this ancient city more authentic.

Part four? Don't take away your heart, take away your hand-Wang Miaocheng

? Wang Miao is the only well-preserved ancient Miao village in Southwest China, which integrates politics, economy, culture, military affairs and architecture. The tunnels in the ancient village take stone walls as barriers and blend with the courtyard walls of various houses. Moreover, there are "right-angle tunnels" dedicated to confusing the enemy, which can lure the enemy into a dead end and annihilate them. The diaojiao building in the village is a typical Miao characteristic.

? When I touched the ancient stone wall, I really felt the thick history of this ancient Miao village, which is also the shooting base of the TV series Border Town Man.

After entering the scenic spot, Chiyou, the ancestor of Miao nationality, sits on the right. The sculpture of Chiyou has a pair of big eyes above and two big ears below, which means that no matter what you do, there is a God Chiyou watching, similar to what we say: people are doing, and the sky is watching. There is also a steelyard in front of Chiyou, which shows that he is impartial. The tour guide sister said that in Miao law, after doing something wrong, someone always cuts their hands and ears in the oil pan (which reminds me of ancient Roman law)!

If you continue, you will see the real scene of shooting Border Town Man. Walking on the bluestone road and touching the talking stone wall, you were in a trance hundreds of years ago.

Go to the podium, hold the Miao flag, lean on the handrail, and order the troops to attack vividly. The most amazing thing is the diaojiao building on the cliff. The diaojiao buildings in Wang Miao are one of the most distinctive diaojiao buildings in China. It consists of five diaojiao buildings embedded in the cliff, which is very spectacular and fully embodies the essence of Miao architecture. Holding wooden stair handrails, looking at the hanging scaffold of pure wooden cliff without a piece of iron, I sincerely admire the wisdom of the ancients!

? After visiting Temple King City, I went back to Phoenix Expressway to stutter lunch, and then continued on my way to Zhangjiajie.

Part V-Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie

? Tianmen Mountain, named after Tianmen Cave, is a natural wonder and world-famous. Known as "the first mountain in western Hunan", "the soul of Wuling" and "the soul of Zhangjiajie". In the sixth year of Wu Yong 'an in the Three Kingdoms (AD 263), the cliff in Song Liang suddenly opened and was as mysterious as a door, forming the Tianmen Cave, a rare wonder in the world, running through the north and south, with a height of 13 1.5m, a width of 57m and a depth of 60m. It is like a gateway to heaven, hence the name Tianmen Mountain. The top of Tianmen Mountain is relatively flat, the original secondary forest is well preserved, there are many extremely precious and unique plant species, and the forest coverage rate reaches 90%. In the meantime, ancient trees are towering, vines are winding, moss is everywhere, stalagmites are everywhere, just like natural bonsai, which is praised by the world as the most beautiful hanging garden and fairyland in the sky.

? When I saw the sunset, I arrived in Zhangjiajie. On the road, I saw the Tianmen Cave in Tianmen Mountain. When I drove to the entrance of the expressway, I realized that this uphill route was closed in winter for safety reasons (in winter, the means of transportation was ropeway, so I bought a ticket from the ropeway station in the city), and I couldn't go to Tianmen East either. However, this has not affected the mood of our family at all. We also tactfully put the mobile phone in the trunk halfway up the mountain and took a photo of the whole family and Tianmen Cave in Tianmen Mountain. Then we went to stay near the ropeway station in the city. After dinner, we saved our energy and prepared for the next day's trip to Tianmen Mountain.

This is our fourth day in Xiangxi, and it's also the 27th day of the twelfth lunar month, but even so, Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area is still crowded, you know, this is the off-season in the off-season! At this time, there are still so many people (there are long queues on the ropeway), I can't imagine the tourist season! It should be noted that it depends on the time when Tianmen Mountain goes up the mountain by cableway. You must enter the ticket gate at the time when you buy the ticket. Time can be postponed, but not in advance. I think this is also a way to make the scenic spots more orderly and tourists safer.

The ropeway in Tianmen Mountain is the longest ropeway in the world, with a total length of 7455 meters, and the level difference between the upper and lower stations is 1.279 meters. It is the longest single-line circulating trolley ropeway in the world, among which 98 trolleys are from CWA company in Switzerland, and the cost of a single ropeway is as high as 200,000 yuan, especially the running speed is designed to be 6 meters per second, and the one-way design is per hour 1000 people. Considering that the ropeway runs for a long time (about half an hour each way) and tourists need ventilation at high temperature, two ventilation window are specially designed for each carriage to form air convection, which is unique in China.

At the fork in the road whether to go to Yuhufeng, our two families parted ways. Chen Bao's family moved away, and our family moved to Yuhufeng. When I really reached Yuhu Peak, I found it was just an observation deck. Standing on the peak of Yuhu Peak, it looks white and natural and unrestrained. But on the way to Yuhu Peak, I saw many beautiful scenery, which was amazing.

After coming down from Yuhu Peak, we continued along the tour guide route of the scenic spot. The scale of the map is large, and the actual distance of each scenic spot is not as far as expected, so the tour speed is faster. At the end of Tianmen Mountain Temple, there is a restaurant on the mountain, and the price will definitely be more expensive than what we usually eat. After all, the scenic spot is reasonable. Our family has never spent money in it, so we don't know the taste. I suggest you bring your own dry food up the mountain. We took a detour from Tianmenshan Temple and took a video of Tianmenshan for my parents on the way, which are all good memories of our family in the future. At this time, the first scenic spot we met was "crossing the river" (bihé, crossing the river means opening and closing. ? After crossing the Tianmenshan cable bridge between two hills, we came to the famous Ghost Valley plank road. Because it snows heavily in the morning on the mountain, the temperature at the foot of the mountain may become longer in the afternoon, and the fog becomes particularly heavy. It seems that we are above the sea of clouds in heaven.

Looking from the plank road of Ghost Valley, the sea of clouds is endless, and the mountains seem to be rendered in splash-ink paintings, vaguely and dimly undulating. Thick white clouds are erratic. I don't know whether the cloud propped up the mountain or the mountain peak was reluctant to let go. Among them, you have me and I have you.

Looking down, no matter how high, the mountains are deeply submerged in clouds, waves and fog. Clouds are slowly rising and running, and we are like fairyland on earth, strolling in the heavenly palace, so chic and happy!
