Can two same-sex friends live in the same room in a hotel in a Muslim country?

Islam prohibits homosexuality, and it also prohibits same-sex people who are not relatives from sharing the same room, just to avoid suspicion of the same sex, so that two men will not be allowed to share the same room.

If there is no proof from relatives, such as brothers and sons, they will not be allowed to live together at all. If it is discovered, it is illegal.
