How to start a self-help tour from Yangshuo to Xanadu

Morning: Take the shuttle bus to Yangshuo at the bus station or the square in front of the South Railway Station, and get off at Xanadu Scenic Area (the fare is 8 yuan). You can enjoy the characteristic buildings of ethnic minorities in northern Guangxi and experience the ethnic customs. Get off at Guiyang Highway and take the bus directly (the fare is 6 yuan) to Yangshuo, which has been longing for a long time. Find a hotel in West Street, the most concentrated place for accommodation in Yangshuo.

Visitors with more luggage can also go directly from Guilin to Yangshuo, and then take a bus at Yangshuo bus station to Xanadu, which is about 20 kilometers away.

Chinese food: West Street restaurant (if there is no restaurant) orders some Yangshuo specialties and banquets. Recommend beer duck, grouper hot pot and boiled dog meat.

Afternoon: Take a short break, then visit the West Street with strong local characteristics, buy some special products of Yangshuo that you like, and soak in your favorite bars in West Street (such as Tintin Bar) at night to experience the feeling of internationalization.

Morning: Rent two tandem bicycles at Xijiekou (10 yuan/car). After leaving the city, drive along the 3 12 national road from Yangshuo to Guilin for about 9 kilometers to Baisha Town, and it takes about 1.5 hours to reach the rafting dock. You can enjoy the idyllic beauty of Yangshuo along the way with the morning light.

The bamboo raft drifts to the Gongnong Bridge (bamboo raft with double bamboo couch and umbrella, 190 yuan/raft). Looking at the overlapping mountains and clear rivers all the way, what is different from the Lijiang River is the quaint stone bridge and the woman washing vegetables by the river, which is more quiet.

You can also ride along the river, about15km from Yulong River to Big Banyan Tree. This route is a bumpy path, and sometimes you have to go by car. It is recommended to rent an impact-resistant car, and pay attention to the fact that the rear fender of the car is not easy to break.

Chinese food: Lao Gen's family eats farmhouse meals. Taste special dishes, such as osmanthus honey tea, braised chicken, braised tofu, etc.

Afternoon: After drifting to the Workers and Peasants Bridge, the path is west, and there is a small villa on the shore, which is very poetic. Back to the main road (the national road leading to Liuzhou), not far away is the Big Banyan Park. It takes about 2 kilometers to go to Yueshan Park by bike. There is a village opposite the Moon Mountain named "Tiger Head". You can ride in from the path of the "Bodhisattva Rock" ticket office, and you can see the Moon Mountain from many angles along that "Moon-watching Road". Finally, take a bus to Yangshuo by the roadside and return.

Evening: Enjoy the large-scale Guilin landscape drama Impression of Sister Liu (about ten minutes' walk from West Street, ticket price: 188 yuan, performance time: 20:00-2 1:00 or 2 1:50-22:50), and the experience is completely different from that during the day.

D7: (Hiking Xingping, Di Yang, with Di Yang-Xingping Hiking Road Map)

Morning: After 7: 00 am, take the shuttle bus from Yangshuo Bus Station to Di Yang (about one hour's drive, fare 8 yuan). At about 8: 30, I bought a ticket at Di Yang Pier and started hiking (fare 16 yuan, including three ferries on the way).

Start from the pier, cross the first ferry, and walk along the gravel road by the river (it is easier to turn your feet, so you'd better wear a pair of walking shoes). Along the way, you can see many honest buffaloes.

When approaching no road, from the left slope, there is a path leading to Shi Lang Village. Cross the village to the second ferry.

After the ferry, walk along the mountain road halfway up the mountain (cool). About half an hour later, a fork in the road appeared (the right side is close and cold, but it is not easy to walk; Walking along the river on the left, the scenery is good, but it's a little far, and it's almost sunny. Then go to a small pier, there are fruits to sell, and you can have a rest. Go along the cement berm, and then turn to the old village head by mountain road.

Chinese food: Lijiang Old Village Head Inn. The food here is very full and delicious. When three people pay 50 yuan, they eat very well.

Afternoon: Come out from the inn at about 1: 30, go down to the small pier, walk along the cement berm and then turn to the country track and field path to see the village road (the famous Jiuma Painting Mountain is in front of the village). After entering the village, follow the road to the end of the village, which is the last ferry-Lengfengdu.

After the transfer, walk along the main road to Xingping (the ferry takes about 1.5 hours to Xingping), and there is no fork in the road. After entering the city, walk along the main road for 5-7 minutes, and you will see a right-turn intersection, where you can take the bus from Xingping back to Yangshuo.

If you are energetic, you can also take a walk in Xingping Ancient Street or visit Guandi Temple. Finally, take a bus back to Xingping Station (the fare is 5.5 yuan, about 40 minutes' drive). If you are tired tonight, go to bed early and start a wonderful trip to Guilin the next day.

Reminder: It is not difficult to walk on the Lijiang River, and the scenery is picturesque all the way. The most important thing is to prevent heatstroke and replenish enough water along the way. You'd better bring a bottle of salt water, a hat and sunscreen.
