Anaya Auditorium is located in Qinhuangdao, near the sea. At high tide, the ground floor space will even be submerged by seawater. The designer imagined the church as a ship that had been drifting at sea for a long time. As time goes by, the sea recedes, leaving a space to build and still wandering on the beach.

The upper floor belongs to the religious space, and there are no beaches and playful creatures in people's field of vision, only the endless sea opposite. The big window facing the sea was lowered to a height of 2 .7 meters, and was shrouded in darkness. Although there are no traditional church altars and idolized sculptures here, you can bathe in the glory of God through the connection between man and the sea.

The main hall is made of fair-faced concrete columns and red brick walls. The concave-convex treatment of brick wall is not only the pursuit of wall texture, but also the hope that the pores of brick will be exposed more, which can play a certain degree of sound absorption effect.

The lighting design of the main hall is also the focus of the church building design. The designer adopted a more restrained and rational approach. There are no visible lights in the main hall as far as possible, and only light belts are set on the upper sides of brick walls on both sides of the church. In order to make the church better integrate into the surrounding low-rise residential building environment, the architect designed it as a single-story building. Six curved roofs with different heights create a space for prayer and worship, and these six roofs have profound symbolic significance: in the Bible, the Almighty spent six days creating everything, and celebrated the birth of this world through mass on the seventh day.

The architect accurately simulates the sunshine every 30 minutes in a day through computer software, and adjusts the position and shape of the roof according to this simulated sunshine, thus ensuring that the indoor space of the church is always in a soft light environment.

The external image of the moonlit wedding hall is pure white, and white has a feeling of "dust", which is not only a color, but also the best medium for the integration of light, shadow, space and reality. The whole wedding hall is superimposed and restored in the form of abstract slices. When people look at it from different angles, they will present different visual pictures. Inside the wedding hall, the artistic conception of "return" is condensed by an arc dome, and a gentle cavity structure is wrapped by streamline, just like a baby curled up in the mother's arms.
