Shicheng, Jiangxi: 10,000 mu of alpine rhododendrons are in full bloom.

It is no exaggeration to describe the beauty of 10 thousand mu of rhododendron in Gaotian Town, Shicheng County with fairyland on earth.

The car went all the way to Panshan Highway and came to the reception station in the scenic spot under Bagua Mountain. There are two convenient roads into the mountain. One is a wooden walkway, where you can stop and admire the azaleas on both sides. The other is a country road, which takes you directly to the core scenic spot of Bagua Brain.

There is a red plastic road on the top of the mountain, which is similar to the cross-country cycling road beside expressway, and it is very suitable for the elderly to play. After getting off the bus, visitors can enjoy the azaleas with different shapes and colors blooming on the alpine meadow along the sidewalk.

The elevation of the main peak of Bagua Nao is1314m (homophonic: lifetime), and the reception center hotel at the foot of the mountain is "520 Hotel" (meaning: I love you), in order to realize the beautiful wish of harmony between man and nature.

There are also "love mountains", "love stones" and "love trails" surrounded by azaleas in the Bagua Brain Scenic Area. Tourists walk among them, and the romantic atmosphere is everywhere.

What is gossip brain? The tour guide said: It is named after the mountain looks like gossip. Baguanaoshan area is high in altitude, surrounded by fog all the year round, and the terrain is complex. There is a phenomenon that people and cattle get lost when villagers are herding cattle in the alpine grassland. Therefore, in rainy and foggy weather, villagers are afraid to enter the gossip brain, fearing that it will be difficult to get out if they go in.

Rhododendron on the mountain is different. The trunk is tall and the flowers are gorgeous, which is the result of fertilization of cow dung discharged when cattle graze.

Climbing to the top of Bagua Laoshan Mountain, I saw endless alpine meadows, and 10,000 mu of alpine azaleas were in full bloom, rendering the peak red. It's like coming to the world of flowers, the ocean of flowers. What is vivid is a Chinese painting by Li Keran, a master of Chinese painting.

Inadvertently, I came face to face with the mountain treasure "cuckoo king" in Baguanao Town. This tree is two or three hundred years old. I saw that the trunk was tall, the flowers were full of branches, and there was a wooden fence to protect it from "destroying flowers". The security guards in the park took turns to be on duty.

The gossip is high, the wind is strong and the temperature is low. Every year in the middle and late April, azaleas compete for beauty and bloom. Just like Bai Juyi's Peach Blossom in Dalin Temple in Tang Dynasty, "Peach Blossom in Mountain Temple only blooms in April."

Every April, Shicheng County holds the Bagua Brain Rhododendron Festival, and tourists come in an endless stream. But the cycle of azaleas is very short, only about 20 days.
