Why is Fulushou of Qixi Qiyeshi Reservoir closed?

There are security risks. According to official website's inquiry, the Qiyeshi Reservoir in Qingxi was built in 1950s by the Dongguan Municipal People's Government. It has been in disrepair for a long time, and there are potential safety hazards, so it needs to be repaired, so it is blocked. Qiyeshi Reservoir is located in the southeast of Qingxi Town, Dongguan City, belonging to Dongjiang River system, with rainwater collection area of 17.6 square kilometers and total storage capacity of115500 cubic meters.
