Located in the east of Xingang, Dongping Town. Taiwan and Macao fishing villages belonged to Nanhai County in Qin Dynasty and Hepu County in Han Dynasty. Known as "the first of the six China" in history, it was the only port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road in. The fishing village here has simple folk customs, gloomy fishing style and profound fishermen's cultural characteristics. It is a relatively complete fishing village in Guangdong Province that preserves the style of primitive fishermen's huts in the Ming Dynasty.

The entrance of Tai 'ao Fishing Village is the sand ring swimming area, which is white and soft in the sand. Tai 'ao Fishing Village has preserved more than 380 meters of ancient buildings in Qian Dian Houfang Commercial Street with Ming and Qing characteristics, and there is the former site of the ancient chamber of commerce along the street.

Zheng He, a great navigator in Ming Dynasty, led his fleet to the Western Ocean for seven times and set up a supply station here. In the Qing Dynasty, the fishing villages in Taiwan and Macao stood side by side with the "Thirteen Lines" in Guangzhou, and were called "the end of the Thirteen Lines" by the people. This is the most prosperous period of Ao fishing village in history.

"Taiwan and Macao first, then Dongping" is a historical witness to the rise and fall of the ancient port of Taiwan and Macao. After more than a century of silence, Tai O gives people the impression that it is "ancient, strange, unique and beautiful", leaving many places of interest, including the Chamber of Commerce, the Treasury of the Chamber of Commerce, the Macau Mansion, the Fishing Village Street, the mass grave, the Guanyin wall clock, the Qing fort and the Niangniang Temple site. These historical sites fully demonstrated the prosperity of Tai O in those days, and left behind a series of magical and wonderful legends.
