What are the disinfection methods in nursing homes?

The disinfection methods of nursing homes are divided into sunlight disinfection, boiling disinfection, soaking disinfection and wiping disinfection.

Daylight disinfection: Nurses in nursing homes take mattresses, mattresses, blankets, quilts, pillows, etc. Facing the sun, directly expose yourself to the sun for 6-8 hours, and turn over the article every 2 hours. After waiting for 30 minutes, take the articles out of the soaking container with clean equipment and put them into a suitable container. After soaking the daily necessities, rinse them with clear water, and the nursing staff in the nursing home will confirm that there is no trace of disinfectant for future use.

Wipe disinfection: Nurses in nursing homes prepare gloves, basins, disinfectant, rags, 0.3%-3% bleaching powder clarifying solution and bed brush covers. Nurses in nursing homes should first pour a proper amount of disinfectant into the basin, put on gloves, dip the venom with a rag and wring it out, wipe all parts of the bed, tables and chairs, replace the rag, wipe a set of bed chairs, pour out dirty water, clean the basin and rag, dry things, and open the window for ventilation.
