At that time, the Shenkeng Hotel was planned to build 19 floors in the pit, including underwater guest rooms, landscape rooms in the pit, hanging gardens and landscape waterfalls.

On March 13th, 212, tianmashan Shenkeng Hotel in Shanghai started construction, which was invested and built by Shanghai Shimao Group. It is the first five-star hotel built in the pit in the world.

The hotel has three floors above ground, 17 floors underground and one floor underwater, and will have a natural indoor garden, a large landscape waterfall, a landscape presidential room and an underwater scene room, as well as bungee jumping and other entertainment projects. To create an underwater fairy tale world, 37 rooms in the hotel are equipped with viewing terraces, which can directly see the waterfalls with a drop of nearly 1 meters and a width of tens of meters across the pit wall. The total investment of the hotel project is expected to be around 6 million yuan.
