Daocheng Aden Raiders-Preparation before departure

I don't know how many people, like me, are full of expectations for Daocheng after watching Passing Through Your World. Three years later, the phrase "There is a place called Daocheng, and I want to go there with my favorite people to see the blue sky, white snowy mountains, golden grasslands and an autumn fairy tale" became the propaganda language of Daocheng. After three years of planning, the trip finally started.

Some friends have asked a lot about the high altitude areas in the west. Let me talk about my opinion first:

About arrival:

Daocheng Yading belongs to Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, and is located at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet. Daocheng County is about 3,700 meters above sea level, Aden Scenic Area is about 3,900 meters above sea level, and Daocheng Aden Airport is 4,400 meters above sea level, making it the highest civil airport in the world.

There are two ways to get to Daocheng Aden:

1) plane: Chengdu has a plane to and from Daocheng Aden Airport (Sichuan Airlines) every day, and there are often delays due to bad weather. However, Sichuan Airlines has rich flying experience and good service in high altitude and bad weather areas in the west. The advantage of the plane is that it saves time and is suitable for people who don't travel for a long time; The disadvantage is that the airport that suddenly landed at 4400 meters is easy to fly high and the ticket is more expensive. I bought a round-trip ticket from Wuhan-Chengdu-Daocheng for 3800 yuan for your reference.

2) Highway: one is the Sichuan-Tibet line, the national highway 3 18, and the other is the western ring road. The two roads will meet at xinduqiao. The West Ring Road is more suitable for go on road trip. If you take a bus, take a shuttle bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Tourist Passenger Station to Daocheng for about two days and stay in Kangding for one night. The fare is 233 yuan. The advantage of expressway is that it is cheap, the altitude rises slowly and it is easy to adapt; The disadvantage is that it takes a long time.

About rebellion:

The incident of high rebellion completely varies from person to person, and it seems that it has little to do with physical health, so it is impossible to prevent it. Will it be high? We won't know until we reach the plateau. Personal experience is to run for at least one month before going to the plateau, preferably long-distance running; Wash with a bottle of glucose powder after going to the plateau every day (there are also glucose solutions with higher concentration in the local area) to improve the blood oxygen content. If you are not at ease, you can eat rhodiola from the first half of the plateau, but personally feel that rhodiola has little effect.

In addition, hyperreflexia does not necessarily occur on the first day. Many people feel that they don't have hyperreflexia when they arrive, and they start to sprint with peace of mind. As a result, they will have hyperreflexia at night or the next day. So when you first arrive, you must take small steps and walk slowly, and you can't run and jump. Go up the stairs step by step and walk as slowly as possible.

Also, because of the cold weather in the plateau, hotels generally have heating or floor heating. Be careful not to raise the temperature too high and don't open the window a little. Because heating consumes oxygen, it is likely to be high because of high temperature and lack of oxygen.

Dear friends who have been to Tibet and other high-altitude areas: If you have the experience of traveling in high-altitude areas, you basically know where your critical point of high inversion temperature is (3000m, 4000m or 5000m). Basically, if there are not many plateau reactions in Tibet, there will be no major problems in Daocheng Aden. Although the average altitude of Daocheng Aden is higher than that of Bilasa, the vegetation is more than that of Tibet, so the oxygen situation is much better than that of Tibet (personal feeling: you can breathe when you walk in Langkazi, Tibet, but you can run and jump when you climb Maiyong Snow Mountain in Aden, which is 4700 meters away from Milk Sea). However, since Tibet basically drives by car, and Aden Scenic Area basically relies on hiking and mountain climbing (the problem of not driving by car will be discussed below), the physical consumption will be much greater than that of Tibet. You should always pay attention to your physical condition and not be careless.

Dear friends who have never been to Tibet: I don't want to go straight to Aden scenic spot as soon as I arrive. It is better to stay in Daocheng County (3,700 meters above sea level) or Shangri-La Town (2,900 meters above sea level) at a lower altitude for one or two nights to get used to it, and then enter Aden Scenic Area the next day. In addition, because I don't know my body's adaptability to the plateau, I can buy one or two oxygen cylinders in Daocheng County or Shangri-La Town for backup. If you feel uncomfortable, you can relieve the symptoms of hyperreflexia.

About oxygen inhalation:

For young people, my personal opinion is not to take oxygen whenever you feel uncomfortable, and it is easy to rely on oxygen tanks. Disadvantages: 1) If you feel uncomfortable at 3000m, you may not be able to absorb oxygen at 4000m or 5000m. 2) You can't smoke all the time. However, for people with strong reaction symptoms or older people, if they feel unwell, they should take oxygen as soon as possible to avoid accidents.

About whether I can drive by car:

If the plane arrives, there is no problem driving by car. Here is only for parents who pass through Daocheng on the Sichuan-Tibet line:

Daocheng is the county seat, about 1 10 km away from Aden Scenic Area. Because it is a mountain road, it takes three hours to drive. However, self-driving is not allowed in Aden Scenic Area, and everyone must take the scenic tour bus to enter. Moreover, it takes an hour to enter the park in Aden scenic spot, which is almost a 45-degree slope and makes a sharp turn, which is not suitable for city drivers.

If you drive by car, you can park your car in Shangri-La town at the entrance of the scenic spot and take a scenic tour bus to enter.

The best season in Daocheng:

One season is from June to August, and you can see green grass and wild flowers; Another season is September -65438+ 10, and you can see golden leaves. This season is better. There are few tourists in other seasons.

About accommodation:

Admission to Aden scenic spot is 266 yuan, and the tour bus in 60 yuan is valid for two days, and it is valid for three days if you live in the scenic spot. If you live outside the scenic spot, you can buy a tour ticket at half price the next day.

It is recommended to live in the scenic spot, although it is a little more expensive than outside the scenic spot, but it can save a lot of time needed to take the Panshan Highway.

The scenic spot is divided into 1 station to 6 stations according to the area where the accommodation is concentrated, and the scenic spot shuttle bus can be taken between each station and each scenic spot. Hotel recommendation: Daocheng Aden Jianshan Hotel, Yading Village Station 2, Ctrip booked 358 yuan per night, including breakfast. There is a mountain view outside the window, which is very suitable for photographers to shoot snow-capped mountains and starry sky. The service is very good.

There are not many restaurants and delicious foods to choose from in the scenic spot, mostly Sichuan cuisine and hot pot. There are fewer supermarkets and few choices, including instant noodles and self-heating meals. Prices are more expensive, about 20% higher than Chengdu.
