Where is Chaoyang Heping Bridge?

Chaoyang Peace Bridge is located in Xinhe Village, heping town, Chaoyang City. Crossing Lianjiang River, known as "Hongqiao Cross-training" in history, is one of the eight scenic spots in Chaoyang. The whole bridge is 90 meters long and 3 meters wide. In the second year of Song Xuanhe (1 120), monk Dafeng died after building the 16 hole, and villager Cai continued to build two holes on the north and south pillow embankment. Stone-wood structure, the highest pier head of the bridge 15m, the lowest 13m. Overlooking the bridge in a straight line, the pier heads are staggered to form a curve. A diversion point is built on the pier to decompose the impulse of tidal fluctuation. This bridge has been rebuilt many times since the year of Taiding Jiazi (1324). 1992 heping town Municipal People's Government presided over the reconstruction again.

1985 Chaoyang county people's government announced it as a cultural relics protection unit.
