Why can't Sanya Cactus Hotel be booked?

Closed down. Official website, Sanya Cactus Hotel, showed that as of August 28th, 2023, the hotel was poorly managed and suffered serious losses, which made it impossible to maintain its operation. The hotel needs large-scale renovation to improve its facilities and service level, so it is temporarily closed to complete related projects. Sanya, referred to as Lucheng for short, was called Yazhou and Yaxian in ancient times, and it is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hainan Province. Located at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island, it is adjacent to Lingshui Li Autonomous County in the east, Ledong Li Autonomous County in the west, Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in the north and Nanhai in the south, with a total land area of 192 1 km2.
