The eighth suspect shooting location

"The Eighth Suspect" was filmed in Gaoming, Foshan.

The film started shooting on June 9, 2019. The crew shot scenes in Gaoming Jinsui Garden, Xi'an Old Street, Yinhai Hotel, Nanhai Guanyao, Xiqiao, Sanshui Ferry and other places. It attracted many neighbors to stop and watch. The film production director said that he had been preparing for the shooting of the scene five months before the film started shooting. "Fortunately, Foshan still retains many buildings from the 1990s, and they are very close to the style of the old buildings in Panyu."

So after final agreement by the crew, most of the movie scenes were shot in Foshan. Among them, the main scene in the movie, the Public Security Bureau, was shot in the official kiln of Shishan, Nanhai. The filming process of the film lasted 55 days, during which time it traveled to Guangdong, Yunnan and other places; on August 3, the film was officially completed in Kunming.
