In this case, many friends will consider making tatami, which can not only improve the storage space at home, but also be used as a bed for children or the elderly at home, or as a leisure area at home, or as a temporary hotel room.

But with the changes of the times, tatami seems to be less popular with us. Is tatami out of date? Actually, the most important factor is that tatami is not so convenient to use.

1. tatami is usually made by a carpenter on the spot or customized. Either way, compared with buying a finished bed, the price is high.

2. It is inconvenient to store things. If tatami is used as a bed, you need to remove the mattress and bedding to store things, but it is not convenient to climb up and down when there is no mattress and bedding to store things.

3. The storage capacity is not large. The tatami is generally spaced 1.5m or 2m, and the surface needs to bear the load, so it will be divided within 60 * 60cm to improve the bearing capacity. Moreover, the aspect ratio of tatami is generally around 45 cm, so the internal storage space is not very large, which is slightly insufficient compared with the general wardrobe.

4. tatami is airtight, and all six sides are closed for a long time, so it is not naturally ventilated and airtight. After a long time, it is easy to breed germs and produce odor. In the case of sleeping for a long time, the water vapor inside will be very heavy, which is not good for the human body. The key is to clean the environment, which is still very difficult.

5. No matter whether the tatami is made on site or customized, the tatami will be fixed to prevent displacement during the whole application process. If it needs to be replaced in the future, only the tatami will be dismantled. After dismantling, the tatami will basically be abandoned, which is inconvenient and wasteful.

With so many inconvenient places, tatami is not so "fragrant"! Without tatami, how can this small room be practical, convenient and beautiful?
