Me I checked online and chose Sunshine Fishing Village on Haxian Island as my place to stay. The main thing is that their cabin is very comfortable, with the sea outside the window, and the sunrise and sunset can be printed on the cabin door.

Transportation Guide

We took a bus at Beigangqiao Passenger Terminal and staggered to Pulandian Pikou Port. The environment here is also very good, much better than Beigangqiao Passenger Terminal.

Pikou Port can directly reach Haxian Island, and the environment inside the station is very demanding. This is a very creative and distinctive building.

At the moment of landing on the island, the crowds can be left out, as they are everywhere. Looking at the blue sky and blue sea, like a peach garden, reminds me of Tao Yuanming's poems. Maybe this island called Haxian was once inhabited by gods and immortals, and it should also be a blessed place.

When we walked out of the pier, we met the fisherman's brother. He helped us put our luggage into the car and let us get on. In fact, I was a little reluctant to get in the car because the scenery here is very good. After getting in the car, we drove for about 5 minutes and arrived at the sea view cabin we booked. We sat in the room and looked out the window at the sea and rocks.

If possible, it is recommended that this B&B can have several themed rooms, such as classmates’ rooms, girlfriends’ rooms, commune rooms, family rooms, couples’ rooms, etc. This would be great. In fact, we don't care too much about whether our stay is comfortable or not. What we care about is how we felt at the time, even though we booked a cabin.

Haxian Island attractions recommendation

The first attraction: Golden Beach

Teacher Shao was very kind to us and drove us around the island. The island is not big, but we did not see the beach mentioned in the travel notes. Finally we couldn't help but ask. It turns out that we didn't do our homework well. Teacher Shao drove us to a small mountain. After we got off the bus, we saw a cultural stone engraved with "Golden Beach".

“You can see the sea and beach if you follow the path. When you don’t want to play, call me and I will pick you up. Be careful not to go too far into the sea.” Honest Dalian Mandarin instantly amused us. Teacher Shao blushed and pointed at us with a smile.

The second attraction: Xiangrui Garden

The next day, Teacher Shao drove us to Xiangrui Garden, which is a small park surrounded by mountains and the sea. At the foot of the mountain is a pebbly beach known as the "Southeast Entrance" by locals. The park is not big and is dedicated to the goddess Poseidon. It faces the sea and is extremely solemn. This is the god who protects fishermen.

Standing on the platform, we looked at the sea in the distance, thinking about the scene we were about to leave, and even cried. Looking back now, it is indeed a bit hopeless, but the scene we really understood can also represent the sincerity of our relationship during the four years of college.

Between the sea and the sky, we silently made a wish, hoping that our future lives would be peaceful and happy, so that we could get together every year. A few years later, we came to this island with our baby and husband and lived in cabins, ranging from 4 to 12 people.

Pebble Beach is really nice. The round pebbles are like warm white jade, and the huge rocks are washed by the sea water and sparkle, like the cold jade bed of "Little Dragon Girl".

The turbulent sea water turned over the pebbles, and the little crabs ran around, catching crabs like children. This may be the last time we laugh like children. When we leave here, we will run towards our work and independence.

How could the beauty of Haxian Island be without the sea? There are endless spherical floating objects on the sea, all of which are farmed scallops and oysters. We had delicious oysters and scallops at the table. Basically they all come from here and end up on the dining tables of thousands of households. The blue sky and blue sea should look like this, with infinite scenery. Pay attention to sun protection. If you don’t wear sunscreen on a fishing boat, just wait for the sea to turn dark.

Whenever tourists come here on the small island of Haxian Island, many tourists will buy some fireworks. When the bright fireworks lit up the night sky and the enchanting bonfire was lit in the courtyard, we held hands and danced, looking up at the fireworks, tears welling up in our eyes. We ordered beer and skewers with Teacher Shao, just to get drunk and forget the pain of parting for the time being. Instead, we blessed each other, said what we wanted to say together, said what we had never dared to say to Dahai, and lamented the four years of backlog to Dahai and our classmates.

When we woke up, we didn’t see the sunrise. Our three days passed quickly. We did not ask Mr. Shao to send us off. After we said goodbye to him, we agreed to come here to get together every year.

On the way, we just looked at the sea quietly on the roadside, because only by looking quietly at this time, we would not shed tears. Even a little dazzling light will make our tears fall, but at least, we will meet again here after more than 300 days.
