Introduction of Zijin Park in Shanghang

Shanghang Zijin Park is located in the east of Shanghang County, south of Dongmen Bridge. There is a food stall next to the main entrance, with children's playground, swimming pool, shooting range, a pond and temple, a driving range, a monument and a hotel.

In 2009, the Ministry of Land and Resources announced the list of the first batch of 28 national mine parks in China, and "Purple Mountain in Shanghang, Fujian" was famous on the list. This is the second national plaque obtained by Zijinshan Industrial Tourism Zone since the "National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site".

According to the requirements, the 28 mine parks that have passed the evaluation this time should complete the capital construction tasks within two years according to the conditions of the national mine parks that have been promulgated, and declare them in time. After the acceptance, the Ministry of Land and Resources named and awarded the license, and the local government or competent department unveiled the park. Zijinshan National Mine Park will gradually build supporting facilities such as museums, sculptures and amusement facilities according to relevant requirements.

The planned total area of Zijinshan National Mine Park is 30 square kilometers, which is initially divided into seven functional areas: tourist area, production and operation area, amusement area, leisure area, ecological sightseeing and camping area, reception area and administrative area. The project will be built in three phases: short-term, medium-term and long-term, and is expected to be completed in 2020.
