The Origin of the Name of Shenzhen "Xili"

Named for its location in Xili Center. Xili, formerly known as Xili, was mistakenly written as Xili in some local chronicles. Cave refers to the place where the depression goes down, and in Hakka, it refers to the tributary of the river. In the early 1980s, Xili built an artificial lake resort and inscribed it as "Xili Lake Resort", which is another mistake of the word "Li". Because the word "Li" bodes well, it will be wrong in the future. Now "Xili Village" and "Xili Road" have been formed.
