Article 14 In any of the following circumstances, citizens shall produce Resident ID card to prove identity:

(3) Marriage registration and adoption registration ;
(4) Applying for exit procedures;
(5) Other situations where laws and administrative regulations require the use of resident identity cards to prove identity.
Citizens who have not obtained a resident identity card in accordance with the provisions of this law and engage in relevant activities specified in the preceding paragraph may use other certification methods that comply with national regulations to prove their identity.
