What's the difference between outdoor design and indoor decoration design of hotels?

There are differences in home improvement equipment and different use requirements

1. Design summary:

The design summary is set by the hotel according to the number of rooms, catering types, meeting space and planning requirements of other hotels for each project.

2. Use of design standards:

The facility summary and the subsequent facility planning form the basis of hotel design and the applicable design standards for control. Design summary and facility schedule are combined with specific applicable design standards to become the guidance of hotel design. In addition, government decrees, building codes and regulations, as well as the current situation of the base and local environmental factors will all affect the hotel design.

Hotel design procedures:

1. The design of the project should meet the requirements of the hotel:

It must go through a series of audits and the approval of drawings and materials submitted by designers. The audit procedure is as follows:

A: Hotel Development Committee (HDC): Each project must be approved by the hotel HDC. Any discrepancy between the proposed project and the hotel's standards should be discussed by the Committee.

a: HDC will evaluate the difference between the design standards of the hotel and the economic benefits that the project can bring to the company.

b: once the project is approved by HDC, the architectural and interior design will be developed to pass the review procedure of HDR.

B: Hotel Design Review Committee (HDR): Each project must be submitted to the hotel HDR Committee, which is composed of senior executive leaders of the hotel.

2. Design review requirements:

At each stage of design, design documents shall be submitted and approved by the hotel. The hotel stipulates that the architectural design and interior design of each project should be formally submitted to HDR Committee for approval.

a: before it is formally submitted to the Committee, the design management personnel of the hotel should review the submitted design and related materials in advance.

b: the submitted design and materials may need to be revised before the hotel approves them.

c: if the submitted design materials do not have enough time for the hotel manager to review and modify in advance, it is likely to delay the formal review.

d: architectural design and interior design are submitted separately and in order.

e: Usually, the interior design is submitted for review several months after the architectural design is approved, which depends on the initial expansion progress.

3. Submission of design documents:

The project design team shall submit design documents and materials according to the requirements listed in the Technical Service Contract (TSA). It usually includes general plan, facility planning table, building plan and effect diagram, model, elevator analysis, energy/life cycle analysis, interior design plan and effect diagram and material sample.

4. Guest room sample room:

Different types of guest rooms and 4m-long guest room walkways shall be completed and approved by the hotel.

5. Project approval schedule (example):

Project-specific requirements, approval conditions and project responsibilities will be defined in relevant project contracts. The following timetable is for example only:

a: The project is reviewed by the Hotel Development Committee.

b: Start the meeting between architectural design and the hotel design director.

c: submit the conceptual design to the hotel: the hotel and approve the design concept (submit it after revision as needed)

d: submit the architectural design documents and materials to the hotel design review committee: the hotel reviews the materials submitted to HDR (revise as needed)

: the face is approved, or it needs to be revised again to meet the opinions of the committee.

e: submission of interior design concept: the hotel will review and approve the interior design concept (revise it as necessary before resubmitting it)

f: submission of interior design materials HDR: the hotel will review the materials submitted to HDR (revise it as necessary)

: the hotel staff will submit the project materials to the hotel design committee.

: the interior design has been approved, or it needs to be revised to meet the opinions of the Committee.

g: the sample room between the guest room and the guest room walkway is completed.

h: it has passed the hotel's review or has to be revised to meet the hotel's opinions.

i: hand in 5% design drawings and technical descriptions: scheme design of HVAC, electricity/lighting, water supply and drainage, kitchen, etc.

: the hotel will review/approve the design (modify it as needed)

j: submit the completed construction drawings and technical specifications.

k: construction inspection (inspection base).

l: the director of hotel design management examines whether the acceptance meets the hotel design standards.

m: the director of hotel design management examines whether the acceptance meets the hotel design standards.

n: the fire department of the hotel reviews and approves the system test.

o: project completion and final acceptance.

Design elements

Edit

1. Spatial elements. The basic task of design is to rationalize the space and give people a beautiful feeling. We should be brave in exploring the new image of space endowed by the times and technology, and don't stick to the spatial image formed in the past.

2. color requirements. Indoor color not only affects the visual environment, but also directly affects people's mood and psychology. Scientific color selection is beneficial to work and health. Proper color processing can not only meet the functional requirements but also achieve beautiful results. In addition to observing the general color rules, indoor colors are different with the changes of aesthetic standards of the times.

3. Light and shadow requirements. Humans love the beautiful scenery of nature, and often introduce sunlight directly into the room to eliminate the dark and closed feeling in the room, especially the top light and soft scattered light, and make the indoor space more intimate and natural. The change of light and shadow makes the room more colorful and gives people a variety of feelings.

4. Decorative elements. The indispensable building components in the whole indoor space, such as columns and walls, need to be decorated in combination with their functions, which can form a perfect indoor environment. By making full use of the texture characteristics of different decorative materials, we can obtain a variety of indoor artistic effects with different styles, and at the same time reflect the historical and cultural characteristics of the region.

5. display elements. Indoor furniture, carpets, curtains, etc. are all necessities of life, and their shapes often have the characteristics of furnishings, and most of them play a decorative role. Practicality and decoration should be coordinated with each other, and their functions and forms should be unified and varied, so as to make the indoor space comfortable and decent and full of personality.

6. Greening elements. Greening in interior design has become an important means to improve the indoor environment. Planting flowers and trees indoors, using greening and sketches to communicate the indoor and outdoor environment, expand the sense of indoor space and beautify the space all play a positive role.

Safety design

Editing

(1) Design of strength, stiffness and stability

Complex component design is often composed of decorative materials and component skeleton, and their strength and stiffness not only directly affect the decorative effect, but also may cause harm to people. For example, the cladding glass and aluminum alloy skeleton of glass curtain wall, and their connection, under various normal loads, if their strength and stiffness are insufficient, may lead to glass breakage, endangering life and property safety.

(2) Safety of connection

The connection nodes bear all kinds of external loads and transmit them to the main structure. If the strength of the connection nodes is insufficient, the whole decorative component will fall, which is very dangerous.

(3) Safety of the main structure

In hotel design, a great load is often added to the main structure, or the safety is reduced due to the need to weaken or cancel some structural members. For example, building floors and suspended ceilings on the floor will increase the load, ranging from 7-8 kg/m2 to 15 kg/m2 or even more; In order to rearrange the indoor space, it is sometimes necessary to add or reduce some partition walls, and sometimes even load-bearing walls, which will inevitably lead to changes in the mechanical performance of the structure and even change the design scheme of the main structure.

(4) Durability

During use, the decorative components and their connections must ensure certain applicability. In the structural design, the necessary strength and stiffness should be checked separately to ensure safety.
