Jinan Technician College was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jinan Labor Bureau Technical School, and was affiliated to Shandong Human Resources and Social Security Department. In June 2009, with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government, Jinan Institute of Technology was transformed into Jinan Technician College, and in February 20 14, Jinan Railway Senior Technical School was merged into Jinan Technician College.
