There is a Kingkong Pavilion in Nanpi Wenbao Hospital. There are two diamonds in the pavilion, carved with bluestone, with delicate lines and magnificent appearance. They are famous stone carvings. In the past, there was a famous Zen forest in Nanpi City-Xinghua Temple, which was located in the northeast corner of the city, near the family courtyard of the current native products company. The date of construction of this temple is unknown. One is the Northern Wei Dynasty and the other is the Tang Dynasty, which need further textual research. In the seventh year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1504), it was rebuilt. It is said that there is a man named Tang Cheng in the Tang room in the east of the city. He is a good Buddha. He once swam in Xinghua Temple and saw ruins and remains in a desolate place. He personally donated money and raised money from a big family, aiming at rebuilding it. It took several years to succeed. Xinghua Temple, with its grand scale, has become a famous temple in Nanpi. Xinghua Temple takes Shi Jingang Hall as its gate. The two King Kong are separated from each other on the left and right sides of the temple, and there is a stone platform below. The base is one foot and two feet high, which can be folded and beautifully carved. King Kong has a solemn face and wears armor, just like a military commander. The left one has a mace hanging on his chest, his hands folded, and the right one holds it on the ground with both hands. Each one is like a nostril. Legend has it that it was carved in the Tang Dynasty. At the beginning of the temple construction, it was dug out of the puddle in front of the temple and placed at the mountain gate. The main building in the temple is Dacige, with 18 arhats in it, and a bronze Buddha with thousands of hands and eyes in the middle, with a plaque of "Ciyun Yongbao" inscribed for Zhang, the champion of the Qing Dynasty. On the left, there is a plaque of "Blessing Mount Tai" and on the right, there is a plaque of "boarding recently". Neither plaque is signed. It is said that they were written by Ming people. There are two couplets in the pavilion: one is inscribed by Nanpi county magistrate during the light year of the Qing Dynasty, "I only have a woman's heart, holding a baby to accompany you;" You must do all kinds of good deeds and accumulate some merits with him. "Second, Nanpi Xiaolian Zhang Zhijing wrote:" King Kong glowered, Bodhisattva lowered her eyebrows, breathing with one nostril, and the fruit was on the sansheng stone; The pavilion was built with painstaking efforts, and the name of the temple is Xinghua. Thousands of eyes are bright, and the dharma body appears on the roof. "In the highest shrine, there is a statue of Buddha. In September 14th year of Guangxu reign, it was hung on the plaque of Daotian. There is a bronze statue of Guan Yu in Guandi Temple in front of the pavilion, mottled with green rust and awe-inspiring weather. Since the late Qing Dynasty, there have been years of wars, and even temples have collapsed. After liberation, only two statues of Shi Jingang remained. Hebei Province listed it as a provincial key cultural relic and built a pavilion in front of the former site of Xinghua Temple in 1964 for protection. The grandeur and incense of Xinghua Temple can only be imagined from the preserved stone King Kong, but when will the Nanpi stone King Kong be carved? Why is it in a puddle? It also left an eternal mystery.
