Is MGM's lion pure gold?

MGM's lion is pure gold. A bronze statue of the Golden Lion stands beside the main entrance of MGM Macau. The statue is 10 meter high and weighs 63 tons. Its shape is similar to the dream bronze statue of MGM in Las Vegas, USA. It is made by the famous sculpture art workshop in Nanjing and the Buddha is cast in the Temple of Heaven in Hong Kong. MGM Macau, with a total area of 2 million square feet, is a five-star casino hotel with 35 floors, adding up to154m. It used to be the south of Macau Trade City, with Taipa in the south, Lake No.1 in the west and Wynn Macau in the north. MGM Macau has a unique design, with three different colors of glass (gold, platinum and rose gold) on the exterior wall in the form of waves.
