The light is better than ordinary downlights, but the disadvantage is that 1 or 2 lights are broken and cannot be replaced.

There are many kinds of materials for the face cover of downlight, such as iron face, pure aluminum and die casting. Generally speaking, iron-faced downlights are cheap, while pure aluminum and die-casting are more expensive, but they are more durable. Iron-faced downlights are widely used in engineering, but it is suggested that downlights in home decoration use a cover that is not easy to rust.

The lamp cap of downlight is an important part, and the main material of the lamp cap is ceramics. The reed inside is the most important, there are two kinds of copper and aluminum. Good brands are made of aluminum, and a spring is installed under the contact to strengthen contact. The other is the power cord of the lamp holder. Good brands use three wires to connect lamp holders (three wires are live wire, zero wire and ground wire), and some of them will have terminals, which is also a very basic way to distinguish good brands from ordinary brands.

Reflective cups are generally sand cups and light cups, made of aluminum, which will not change color and have better reflectivity. Some small manufacturers will use plastic spraying to do it. This new process looks good, but it will become dark or even black after a while. The identification method is to look at the uniformity of the cut. Aluminum is cut neatly, but plastic spraying is the opposite.

The main problem of downlight lies in the lamp mouth. The lamp mouth of some inferior brands of downlight is not resistant to high temperature and is easy to deform, which leads to the bulb not being screwed down. All lamps and lanterns must pass 3C certification before they can be sold. Consumers should choose downlights that have passed 3C certification. No matter what kind of downlight or spotlight, it will generate heat. Be careful not to get too close to the wall, so as not to make it yellow.
