Legal analysis: 1, white. This category is people who have not been investigated by any public security organ or are related to the case.

2, blue. This category refers to people who may have been involved in some cases before, but have no influence on their use and life.

3, yellow. This category refers to people who are detained by public security organs or dealt with in other ways because of drug abuse, theft, fighting, etc.

4. Red. This category refers to online fugitives or other fugitives released by public security organs or provincial public security departments and the Ministry of Public Security.

Legal basis: Article 15 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Resident Identity Cards. In any of the following circumstances, you can check your ID card after showing your law enforcement certificate:

(1) It is necessary to ascertain the identity of the criminal suspect;

(two) when implementing on-site control according to law, it is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel;

(3) It is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel at the scene in case of an emergency that seriously endangers social order;

(four) during major events in railway stations, long-distance bus stations, ports, docks, airports or places designated by the Municipal People's government, it is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel;

(five) other circumstances required by law.

In any of the circumstances listed in the preceding paragraph, if the people's police refuse to examine the resident identity card, they shall take measures to deal with it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

No organization or individual may detain a resident identity card. However, unless the public security organ executes the compulsory measures of residential surveillance in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).
