Day 1: From Chengdu to Wulong

Depart at 8 a.m. via the Ring Expressway to Chengnan Expressway, and drive 135.5 kilometers along the Chengnan Expressway towards Suining. Turn left onto the Sui-Chongqing Expressway and drive for 42.3 kilometers (the toll from Chengdu to Suining is 64 yuan). Drive along the Yu-Sui Expressway for 116.2 kilometers (the toll from Suining to Chongqing is 95 yuan). Go towards Shiqiaopu and turn slightly right. On the Inner Ring Expressway, drive along the Inner Ring Expressway for 25.6 kilometers, enter the Yuxiang Expressway in the direction of Nanchuan, drive along the Yuxiang Expressway for 139 kilometers, and get off at the Wulong Toll Station (the toll from Chongqing to Wulong is 90 yuan).

Arrived in Wulong at about 1:30, follow the signs and enter Wulong County first. Enter the county and go straight to the first intersection to the right. After passing a roundabout, go left. It is recommended to go to the Douhua Rice behind Hope Travel Agency. For lunch, the tofu pudding is very unique, with flowers, melons and vegetables, and the portion is very generous. It costs 99 yuan for six people. After dinner, I bought fruits and braised vegetables nearby and prepared to go up the mountain.

Return to the mountain along the same route as you entered the city. The road is paved with grass and is very clean. You pass by the Fairy Mountain Tourist Distribution Center. There is no need to stop here. You can go directly up the mountain and drive 45 minutes to Fairy Mountain. At the mountain gate, buy Fairy Mountain tickets at the tourist distribution center (original price 50 yuan, 25 yuan after 50% discount for students and senior citizens). After entering the mountain gate, if you have already booked a hotel, you do not need to confirm it because you have already paid the deposit and can go directly to the prairie for viewing. The Fairy Mountain Prairie is known as the "No. 1 Pasture in the South". It is embedded in the forest like jasper and emerald, and cattle and sheep roam among it, making it poetic and picturesque. Children can run and play here as much as they want, and there are also entertainment projects such as grass skiing. After seeing the prairie, we headed towards the horse racing track. In addition, there are also go-karts, archery and other projects. It was already 5:30 after the tour and we headed to the hotel. Because we made the reservation too late, we only booked the Balmain Hotel (023-77737680, call Samsung, 320 yuan/room, currently under expansion). (It is recommended to book Huabang and Xuefu in advance through a travel agency, estimated to be around 380-480). After sorting it out, we drove to the farmhouse street on the mountain. The girl at the front desk recommended grilled fish here. As expected, the name is well-deserved. The facade is very inconspicuous and is called "Hao Zai Lai BBQ City". As evidenced by the picture, there are grilled fish, grilled chicken, and barbecue. Other side dishes, grilled fish are 25 yuan/jin, which is much cheaper than the hotel price. After dinner, I walked along the road back to the hotel. The evening breeze on the mountain was still a bit cool, and I looked at the sunset in the distance.

The next day: Visit the Third Tiansheng Bridge in the morning and the Longshui Gorge ground seam in the afternoon.

Get up at 8 o'clock in the morning, eat breakfast, go to the forest to breathe fresh air, then go down the mountain, stop the self-driving car at the Fairy Mountain Tourist Distribution Center, and change into a sightseeing car. The fare is 40 yuan per person and the journey takes 20 minutes to reach the gate of the scenic spot. Tiansheng Sanqiao is a national 4A-level tourist area. It is famous for its large-scale and majestic three bridges sandwiched between two pits. The three natural stone arch bridges: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge are the most famous ones that have been discovered so far. The largest group of stone arch bridges. Another sight here is Tianfu Guanyi, which was built with an investment of 2 million yuan (there is an ecological toilet here, which is worth promoting, and it uses microbial fermentation and does not use water. In addition, it is the only toilet in this scenic spot). It is the most popular place in the city. "Golden Armor" is the only location. It takes about two and a half hours to complete the Tiansheng Third Bridge and arrive at the exit. There are snacks for sale. It is recommended to have a simple lunch in addition, or bring your own dry food.

There is a ticket office for the Longshui Gorge Ground Seam at the exit. I picked up the free tickets in advance and saved 300 yuan. I only purchased a sightseeing car for 35 yuan/person. The ground seam is 2 kilometers long and deep. In the valley, there are several places where natural wind blows, which is more comfortable than air conditioning. There is a cool cave with waterfalls and mountain springs. It is very quiet. After swimming in the seams, walk to the exit, get on a cart, and walk along the Third Tiansheng Bridge. Walking along the outer edge of the crack in the ground, I just looked deep into the bottom of the valley, and now I look from above. I just marvel at the uncanny workmanship of nature. It is so amazing.

Arrive at the distribution center, change into a self-driving car, and continue down the mountain. There are many restaurants on the roadside. Two-thirds of the way down the mountain, there is a "Three-leaf Chicken" (023-77772999) on the right side of the road. Its specialties are three-leaf chicken and sausages. , cold pumpkin, tiger skin pepper, tofu curd, etc. are only 170 yuan. I also particularly recommend their polenta, which is made from fresh corn and is quite delicious, and their dry rice, which is made from potatoes and cowpeas. It's so delicious, the chicken is authentic local chicken, and the boss is very nice.

After dinner, I entered Wulong County, followed the same route as the first day, and arrived at Wulong Chongbai Supermarket (I hadn’t reached Hope Travel Agency yet, so I went in the same direction with it). I checked in and walked out of the hotel. It was already cold and crossed. There is a barbecue restaurant in Tianqiao that tastes good. I recommend trying it.

The third day: Visit Furong Cave and Furong River

Get up at 8 o'clock in the morning and go to a Home Inn downstairs of the hotel to have breakfast, including fried dough sticks, soy milk, and steamed buns. After breakfast, we packed our luggage and walked straight along the highway to Furong Cave. We arrived at Furong Cave 40 minutes later. At the entrance of Furong Cave, we overlooked the Furong River. The green water was refreshing and beautiful. There are beautiful green mountains and a green river on both sides of the bank, which is beautiful. Entering the Furong Cave, a full-time tour guide will explain the whole process. There are five unique sights in the Furong Cave: the Giant Screen Waterfall, the Source of Life, the Coral Yao Pool and the Dogtooth Crystal Flower. Among them, the Coral Yao Pool is the most worth seeing. The stalactites are like seabed corals. The water depth here is 80 centimeters all year round. It really looks like seabed corals. According to the tour guide, there are only two places like this in the world, and the other one is a cave in France. This scenic spot is indeed well-deserved. I asked the tour guide that it only took a year to develop this cave. I can only sigh at the wisdom and hard work of the engineering staff that allowed us to see such a beautiful scene.
