We can analyze it from the perspective of violence aesthetics:

"Killing is a lotus/you can hold it in your hand if you kill it/you can't change your hand."

The poem Xinjiekou was written in 1993. At this time, we can see that a poet's fascination with violent aesthetics has become the main cause of tragedy. In Gu Cheng's later poems, the image of "killing people" is not uncommon.

Look, the poem "I give you the knife" makes death more brilliant: "I give you the knife/you people who killed me/hide its thorns like flowers ... carve some patterns, carve some patterns/wait/killer/love.

In contrast, Gu Cheng is just a fool who dares to taste the taste of death. He is full of violent desire, but he can't grasp the aesthetic of violence-this is a game of politicians, warlords and big businessmen, and he is just an illusion poet-a teenager who doesn't know the essence of life.

Fish represents the time of the dead-we can see Gu Cheng's mind. Although his body is dead, his soul still lingers in his poems and paintings.

One thought of Buddha's illusion. Gu Cheng has all the potential of a saint, and he dedicated it to poetry. In his poems and paintings, through fish, he wants to come back and return to our life today-which means his repentance.
